We hear your heart and the genuine concern you have for your child’s care while you work. It’s clear you’re seeking stability and provision, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this need before our Heavenly Father.
First, we want to acknowledge the responsibility you feel as a parent. Scripture tells us in Proverbs 22:6, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Your desire to provide well for your child is honorable, and we believe God sees your efforts and your heart. At the same time, we encourage you to seek His wisdom in every decision, trusting that He will guide you. James 1:5 says, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."*
Finances can feel overwhelming, but we are reminded in Philippians 4:19 that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This doesn’t mean we sit idly by, but it does mean we can trust God to open doors as we seek Him faithfully. We encourage you to pray specifically for wisdom in managing your current finances, asking God to reveal any areas where adjustments can be made. Proverbs 3:9-10 says, *"Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."* Trusting God with your finances—even in small ways—can open the door to His provision.
We also want to encourage you to explore all available resources in your community. Are there local churches, nonprofits, or government programs that might offer assistance with childcare? Sometimes God provides through the hands of others, and there is no shame in seeking help when it’s needed. Galatians 6:2 tells us, *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."*
Now, let us come together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up this dear sister/brother and their child. Lord, You see their heart and their desire to provide well. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for permanent work, Father. Provide stability and increase in their finances so they can meet their needs and care for their child. Give them wisdom in managing what they have, and help them to trust You fully, knowing that You are their Provider.
Lord, we also ask that You would guide them in finding the right care for their child. Whether it’s through daycare, family support, or another avenue, make Your provision clear. Surround them with godly counsel and resources to help them in this season.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold. Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen their faith and help them to rest in Your promises.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who sustains us, provides for us, and hears our every prayer. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord in this season, trusting that He is working even when you can’t see it. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Hold onto that hope, and keep pressing forward in faith. You are not alone in this journey.
