Beloved Warrior
Lord Jesus, holy and righteous, I humbly bow before the Throne of Grace. I lift up my brother Doug (Intercessor) for your touch. As he begins his 40 day fast, I ask your hand upon him to sustain him for man does not live by bread alone. Doug is seeking spiritual meat. He puts you first in his life, to please you, to praise you, to seek your will and provisions. I come against the dark spirits that will be assigned to attack during this fasting. I ask the Lord to place a hedge of protection around Doug to keep the enemy away, that none could penetrate the barriers placed by the Lord. Help him to be rooted and grounded, to not faint or grow weary. Give him strength to endure, to look deep inside of himself, to see you more clearly and more effectively than he ever has. Let him find spiritual truths, see visions, conquer the enemy and triumph when it is all said and done. Doug was created for your purpose and you know the plans you have for his life. May you show them to Doug and may you bless him mightily. Have your hand upon his ministry, bring unity to his praise team. Pour out your Holy Spirit in a revival of souls. Let the harvest begin with the fasting. He is hungry and thirsty. Feed him spiritual food and give him water from the living well. Give him wisdom and discernment. Help him to be in study, meditation and worship. May your spirit bring hidden things out into the open. May he find a deeper relationship with you than he has ever experienced. Help him to stay strong and focused on the task at hand. Pick him up when he is weak and refresh his spirit. I thank you and praise you for this mighty warrior. He is seeking with all of his heart, mind and spirit. Touch him with your mercy and your grace. When the night is done, the ministry is complete, give him rest, deep, peaceful sleep. Keep out the noise and the sounds of the day. Give him quiet and peace. Thank you Lord for your hand upon Doug. Amen and amen
