Day Four - 40 day Fast by Intercessor

Lord Jesus, Lord of my heart, my soul and my spirit: I come before you today and lift up Doug that your hand would be on his as he continues to seek your will for his life. Shepherd, lead your servant to holy ground. Bring hiim to your mighty throne and assist him with his daily needs while he continues to fast. As you continue pruning the vine in his life, let there be no resistance. Show him the material things he must give up and the spiritual things he must cling onto. As you prune the vine, it grows more beautiful with each cut. In the end, Doug will emerge as a new creature and he will know the purposes of his life and the plans you have made for him.

Doug has been very specific in his prayer requests. I pray your hand over them. Be with Doug, comfort and strengthen him in this journey. Pour out your mercy each day. Do not let him get weak or faint but sustain him by your hand. Reveal something new to him each day. He is fully focused on you, Lord. His only desire is to serve you and to do it better. I thank you for the opportunity to pray for him as he requested, to lift him up and to stand with him. I come against the enemy and I ask that you put a hedge of protection around him in all his comings and goings and with every contact he makes, that no evil can touch him or derail his quest. May you bless him mightily and may he feel your hand on his. May you annoint him again tonight for the ministry you have called him to do. May the praise singers be in unison and may their be harmony at the service. To you be all glory, honor and praise forever. May thy kingdom come soon, Lord. May you rescue your children from the face of this earth as it becomes more and more immersed in evil and deception. I glorify your name today. I magnify your holy name. I praise you and bless you, Lord. May you send your blessing down on Doug and keep him safe in your arms. Amen

God, I thank You for Patti's heart to intercede for Doug. I agree with what has been prayed and ask that You would encounter him tonight. Bless and refresh him in a supernatural way that food cannot do. Let him be hit with the Your presence and be blown away by Your humility, mercy and power In Jesus name.
