ALWAYS BE READY TO GIVE A DEFENSE

TO ANYONE WHO ASKS YOU A REASON

FOR THE HOPE THAT IS IN YOU, WITH

MEEKNESS AND FEAR.

1 PETER 3:15

TO BE SILENT ABOUT THE SAVIOR AND HIS

SALVATION IS A DREADFUL SIN OF OMISSION.

First of all, God has no need for myself, nor anyone else to defend Him.

Rather, the importance of today's verse is that He has given you the privilege

of telling all who ask why your faith, hope and trust in His Son is so strong.

Second, we do not take for granted that we can give you anything we wish. For myself, I frequently ask Him for the wisdom and truths that He wishes for me to present this message to you.

Interpret the word fear as you will. For me it is the deepest reference I can give to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to represent Him to you as,

"The Way, the Truth, and the Life". We have the great commission to GO YE into all the world with His message. Remember that your world can be the neighborhood where you live or much larger and farther away.

Our reward is not on this earth. We just pray for His commendation when we meet Him face to face:

"Well done, thou good and faithful servant..."

Thank you Lord Jesus, thank you formaking us strong for making us courageous in the defense of our faith, of your love and care for us. Dear Lord turn the weak and the meek into roaring lions when the time comes for them to speak out your name, Dear Jesus turn us all into fierce warriors when the timecomes to defend and guard You and YOur HOly Name. Bless YOu Lord for we always know and have known that You stand by us, by Your word , By Your promises. Thank you Lord Jesus in You we trust
