Day 29

Good Afternoon

I am so sorry for getting behind. I have just been enjoying the blessing God has given me..

I don’t know about the rest of you but in the beginning this 40 days were so hard. It seemed like everything was against me. I was struggling to get through each day, and every time I went on the page all I saw was everyone’s struggle.

Well for the last week or so things have gotten so much better. Do you know why? It isn’t because things have changed drastically between me and my h, it isn’t because the ow is out of the picture, don’t know if she is or isn’t, but that isn’t going to dictate my mood, it wasn’t because I got some work, it wasn’t because the weather got better, it wasn’t because the relationship with my children got any easier.

Do you want to know the secret that has changed with me? I changed. I decided not to dwell on what I don’t have but to rejoice in what I do have. I have decided that it doesn’t matter how anyone treats me but it does matter how I treat others.

I have listened when God has spoken. I have a better outlook and when I can’t handle it I have to give it to God. I am happier than before, I am at peace. I have decided that peace is a choice. And I will choose peace.

Yes these last few days have been hard with dealing with my son’s brother, but it isn’t him but the others in his life. And I will choose to stick with him and release those who I feel don’t have his best interest. I know God has everything covered.

I have made mistakes over the past few days but I will not dwell on them. If we start praising God for what he has done for us the more we will see that he has done.

I need to work on a few things but I know God will help me to do what is needed.

So I will choose to Love God. I will choose to love others. I will choose to peace and bring all of my thoughts in line with the Father..

So try changing you mind set and see if everything improves. Just praise God for whatever it is you can find no matter how small it is. And he will multiply his praise.
