Good morning all, I hope everyone had a good holiday yesterday, those who celebrate . I hope you all made new memories to share with your spouses. I have been thinking a lot about what we are doing with our time while we are waiting for our reconciliation.
It is hard to be happy and not to worry about what the future holds especially when bills need to be paid and children need things that we cannot afford. It is hard when we are facing legal battles and uncertainty of what our plans will be.
This is the time we need to not focus on our spouse but on what the word of God has told us. In Matthew, Jesus tells us do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will have enough worry of its own. We are also told do not worry about what we have to wear or eat because if God will take care of the sparrows he will take care of us because we are so much more precious than the sparrow.
We have to hold tight to the Word of God right now and live for this moment. We do not need to ask God please help me with the bills which are due in two weeks. That will take care of its self in time. We need to start focusing and living for today. We need to hand over our worries and trust God with them. I mean really trust God with them. We need to take our hands off it. (Yes I know it is hard, I struggle with this every min of the day)
We believe that the Bible is a living breathing Word of God. We believe that what it says is true, so we should start living like it is. The word tells us that the Lord will supply all of our needs. So do you believe it? The bible tells us great are the plans he has for us, plans for us to prosper, so do u believe it? The bible tells us when we cannot speak for ourselves that Jesus is sitting on the right hand of God interceding for us, so do we believe it?
Hold on to the truths of the Word. When our minds start to wonder, think what is true and think what is pure and hold on to that. God is with us every day showing us his mercy, I know a lot are asking where God is? What we really should be asking is what do you need to me learn and do in this situations? We all have doubts, fear and confusing thoughts, but the Word tells us that if we require wisdom we only need to ask and it will be given. So let us ask God for wisdom and live in the moment. Everything had a purpose and we have to remember our ways are not God’s ways and our thoughts are not his thoughts and most importantly God is not slow to answer he wishes no one in this situation to perish, whether it be our spouse, the other person or the person that is watching to see what happen in our lives.
We all believe that God has a plan and that we are a testimony to others, we are not a good testimony if all we do is cry and mop and are down hearted. We need to rejoice and celebrate today and every day, we need to create new memories and get strong in our relationship with God. Yes we will get hurt but we know what the end goal is, and that is eternal life.
So let us spend time in the word and let it renew us daily and strengthen us and grow us so that we can face anything. Let our houses be built on the solid Rock of Jesus and let our live be like the tree planted by the river.
Have a beautiful day!! REJOICE!!!!!
Anthonette.

Father God as we are facing loneness and uncertainty, as we have thought of our spouse and the OP in their lives, help us Father to remember that we need not to worry but just leave everything in your more than capable hands. Help us to focus on you and all other thing will fall into place. Let us remember the more time we spend with you, the stronger will we get and that with your, we can face anything. In Jesus name Amen.
