We join you in lifting up your daughter to our Heavenly Father, who cares deeply for her safety, her walk with Him, and every detail of her life. Your prayer is a beautiful example of a parent’s faith, and we echo your petitions with confidence in God’s protection and provision. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* What a promise to cling to as she travels and steps into this new academic year!
We also pray that her junior year will indeed be a season of drawing closer to Christ, not just in knowledge but in deep, transformative worship. May she seek Him first in all things, as Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:33: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Let her studies, relationships, and work be opportunities to glorify Him, and may she find favor with professors and peers as she walks in integrity and wisdom.
As for her relationships, we pray they would be rooted in godliness and purity, reflecting the love of Christ. If she is not yet married, we ask the Lord to guard her heart and keep her focused on His will for her life, whether that includes preparing for a future godly marriage or serving Him wholeheartedly in singleness. Let her be a light on campus, pointing others to Jesus through her words and actions.
Father, we ask for Your angels to encamp around her, as Psalm 91:11 declares: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Protect her vehicle from mechanical failure, shield her from distracted or reckless drivers, and grant her alertness and wisdom behind the wheel. Cover her with Your peace, so she may travel without fear, knowing You are with her.
We also pray for her spiritual growth—may she hunger for Your Word and find community with believers who will encourage her in faith. Let this year be marked by Your presence in every area of her life.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
