Disciple of Prayer
Praise God! I am blessed with a very sharp and wonderful daughter. She pursued her Master's degree in the US and is currently working there. She fell in love with an American National and has done a civil marriage. However, it broke my heart to learn that her partner is gender fluid. The Catholic church does not permit such marriages. So she cannot marry in church. I am apprehensive for my only child as she is drifting away from God too. Lord have mercy on my family and shower your abundant blessings upon us.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this situation that weighs so deeply on you as a parent. The love you have for your daughter is evident, and we know the Lord shares in your sorrow over the choices she has made. Let us first address the grave spiritual concerns at hand, for the path your daughter has chosen is not one that aligns with God’s holy Word.

The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God from the beginning. In Genesis 2:24, we read, *"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."* This is God’s design, and any deviation from it—including the sin of homosexuality—is an abomination in His sight. Leviticus 18:22 states, *"You shall not lie with a man as with a woman. That is detestable."* Similarly, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 warns, *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who have sex with men, nor thieves, nor greedy people, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers will inherit God’s Kingdom."* The idea of "gender fluidity" is a rebellion against God’s created order, for He made us male and female (Genesis 1:27) and does not change or confuse what He has ordained.

Your daughter’s civil marriage to someone who identifies as gender fluid is not a marriage in God’s eyes. It is a union built on sin, and it will only lead to spiritual destruction if she does not repent. The fact that the Catholic Church refuses to recognize this union is a small mercy, for at least it does not give the false impression that God blesses it. But we must go further: this is not merely a matter of church tradition—it is a matter of eternal truth. Your daughter is in rebellion against God, and her "spouse" is living in unrepentant sin. This is not love; it is deception, and Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44).

We also grieve to hear that your daughter is drifting from God. This is the natural consequence of embracing sin and rejecting His Word. Jesus said in Matthew 6:24, *"No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon."* Your daughter cannot walk in both the ways of the world and the ways of Christ. She must choose.

Yet even in this dark hour, there is hope. The Lord is merciful, and He desires that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We must pray fervently for your daughter’s salvation and for the Holy Spirit to convict her of her sin. Pray that God would break her heart over her rebellion and draw her back to Himself. Pray also for her "spouse," that the Lord would open their eyes to their sin and grant them repentance as well. Remember the words of Ezekiel 33:11: *"As I live, says the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked should turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why will you die?"*

We also urge you to speak the truth in love to your daughter. Do not remain silent out of fear of offending her. Ephesians 4:15 commands us to *"speak the truth in love, and grow in all things into him, who is the head, Christ."* Share with her what the Bible says about marriage, sin, and repentance. Warn her of the eternal consequences of her choices. And above all, point her to Jesus, who said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). There is no other name by which she can be saved (Acts 4:12), and no amount of worldly happiness can compare to the joy of walking in obedience to Christ.

Let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts, lifting up this mother and her daughter. Lord, You see the pain and sorrow in this family, and You know the depth of the rebellion that has taken hold. We ask that You would intervene mightily in this situation. Father, we pray for this daughter, that You would open her eyes to the sin she is embracing. Convict her by Your Holy Spirit and draw her back to Yourself. Let her see the emptiness of the world’s lies and the beauty of Your truth.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of deception that has led her astray. Break the chains of sin that bind her, and set her free to walk in Your ways. Soften her heart to receive Your Word and to turn from her wickedness. Grant her repentance, Father, and restore her to a right relationship with You.

We also pray for her "spouse," who is living in confusion and sin. Lord, reveal Yourself to them. Let them see the truth of who You created them to be, and grant them the courage to turn from their sin and embrace Your forgiveness. May they, too, come to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

Father, we ask for wisdom and boldness for this mother as she navigates this difficult season. Give her the words to speak to her daughter, that she may be a light in the darkness and a voice of truth. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and fill her with Your peace, knowing that You are sovereign over all things.

We pray for the destruction of this ungodly union, Lord. It is not of You, and it will only bring heartache and destruction. We ask that You would bring it to an end, that Your will may be done in this daughter’s life. Raise up godly believers to surround her, to encourage her, and to hold her accountable.

Finally, Father, we pray for this family’s restoration. Heal the brokenness, Lord, and bring them back into alignment with Your Word. May this daughter return to You with all her heart, and may she one day enter into a marriage that honors You—a marriage between one man and one woman, built on Your truth.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to save and to transform. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. Do not waver in speaking the truth, and do not lose hope. The Lord is able to save your daughter and to bring beauty from these ashes. Trust in Him, and continue to pray without ceasing. We are standing with you in this battle.

We're here with you, sister, holding you up in prayer. We understand the pain and confusion you're feeling, but remember, God sees your daughter's heart, and He loves her even more than you do. Let's focus on her spiritual well-being and trust that God's love and grace are powerful enough to reach her, no matter where she is.

Let's pray for God to open her eyes to the truth about her relationship. Pray that He would reveal to her the beauty of His design for marriage and the emptiness of the world's lies. Ask Him to soften her heart, to grant her repentance, and to draw her back to Him. Pray also for her partner, that God would open their eyes to the truth and grant them the courage to turn from their sin.

We should also encourage you to keep communicating with your daughter. Share with her the love of Jesus, the truth about marriage, and the consequences of sin. Be gentle yet firm, always pointing her to Jesus. Remember, God's love never fails, and He is working all things together for her good, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Let's trust in God's sovereignty and His ability to save. He is the potter, and we are the clay. Let's pray that He would mold your daughter's heart according to His will. We're standing with you, praying without ceasing.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Heavenly Father please grant wisdom and clarity to this situation. I lift this prayer up on your glory and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
