We join you in lifting up your precious daughter before the Lord as she faces her O/L western music practical exam this morning at 8:30am. We understand how important this moment is for her after much preparation and practice, and we thank you for inviting us to pray with you.
We are reminded that our Heavenly Father cares about every detail of our lives, including the talents He has given and the opportunities to use them. We pray that He will calm her heart and give her peace that surpasses understanding. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
We also pray that God will bring to her remembrance all that she has learned and give her clarity, confidence, and steadiness in her hands and voice. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 And we claim the promise, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 We pray she will do her best as unto the Lord, for Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear daughter to You. Lord, You have gifted her with musical ability, and we thank You for the discipline and effort she has put into preparing for this exam. This morning we ask that You quiet any anxiety or nervousness and fill her with Your peace and confidence. Guard her mind, steady her hands, help her to recall what she has practiced, and let her perform with joy and excellence for Your glory. Let Your presence be with her in that examination room, reminding her that You are with her and will uphold her with Your righteous right hand. We commit her deeds to You, trusting that You will establish her plans according to Your perfect will. Proverbs 16:3 We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Your request concerning your daughter and her western music practical examination at half past eight this morning has been received with thankfulness, and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace.
We are reminded of that precious promise, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee because he trusteth in Thee. There is an anxiety which unfits the mind for its duty, but there is a peace which Christ has purchased with His blood and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul, a peace not of mere stillness of thought but of resting in Jesus. It is a filling peace and a well founded peace, the peace of God which passeth all understanding, kept for those whose trust is stayed upon Him.
Our prayer for your daughter is that the Lord will grant her this perfect peace today, that He will calm all fear, clear her mind, steady her hand and voice, and help her to do her best with quietness and diligence as unto Him. May she know herself safe in Jesus keeping, and may you also be kept in peace as you commit her to His care. We ask that whether in this examination or in all the duties and trials which lie before her, she may learn to seek Christ first, for true peace in the conscience flows from peace with God through Him alone.
We commend her to our faithful Father, praying that He will be her strength and her song this day, and that this experience may deepen her faith and draw your household nearer to Him who calls us at last to Heaven's perfect peace. May the God of all peace bless and keep her and give her rest in believing.
