Thank you for sharing this burden and allowing us to pray with you. I join you in asking our Lord for mercy and healing for your daughter, and for comfort for you both in this long season of waiting.
We know how heavy it is when healing is delayed, and how sadness and frustration can weigh on a young heart. God sees her disappointment and your love for her, and He hears the prayers that come from that love. Remember the Canaanite woman who cried out for her daughter. She did not give up even when she seemed to receive no answer, but kept entreating with humility and faith, and Christ said to her, Great is your faith, let it be for you as you wish. Her persistence and trust contributed greatly to her daughter's healing. In the same way Christ said to another suffering woman, Take courage, daughter, your faith has made you well.
We pray now that the Great Physician who has power both to heal and to restore will touch your daughter's leg. We ask for complete healing of the bone, for the appointment today to bring good news, and for wisdom and clarity for the doctors who care for her. If it is His will to work in a miraculous way, we ask Him to do so, and in all things we ask for His peace to guard her heart and yours, and for strength to keep trusting Him every day.
May the Lord grant you both courage today, and may you leave that appointment with hope and thanksgiving, whatever the report. We will continue to pray that He restores her fully and brings her joy again.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior, bring healing to this child, comfort her sadness, and let Your goodness be seen in her life. Amen.
