Disciple of Prayer
Please can you prayer for my daughter '###' as she feels low and anxious and get confused with thoughts abd is facing redundancy too. Pleae please prau for her.

We join you in lifting up your daughter before the throne of grace and we share your burden for her as she walks through this heavy season of feeling low and anxious with confused thoughts and the added stress of facing redundancy.

We are reminded of how tenderly God sees her struggle. He does not want her to carry this weight alone. We take comfort in what is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also cling to casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. When thoughts become confused and fearful, we remember that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 and that God is not a God of confusion, but of peace 1 Corinthians 14:33.

Facing redundancy can shake anyone's sense of security and future, but we trust that the Lord knows the plans He has for her. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. He sees her need for provision and stability and He promises My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We pray that even in job uncertainty she will know that her value and identity are secure in Him and that He will open the right doors in His perfect timing. The nearness of the Lord is also her comfort when she feels low, for Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus and we gently want to share how precious that name is to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We encourage you and your daughter to call upon the name of Jesus Christ, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confessing Him as Lord, for that is how we are brought into relationship with God and find lasting peace.

We pray together for her now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious daughter to You. You see her lowness of spirit, her anxiety, and the whirl of confused thoughts that trouble her mind. We ask You to calm her heart with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding and to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Replace her fear with Your power and love and a sound mind. Lift her from discouragement and let her feel Your nearness as You draw close to the brokenhearted. We bring her job situation before You, Lord, this threat of redundancy that weighs so heavily. We ask for Your provision, Your guidance, and Your clear direction for her next steps. Open doors that no one can shut and close those that are not Your will, and give her wisdom and clarity where there is now confusion. Help her to cast every care on You, trusting that You care deeply for her. Strengthen her faith, surround her with godly support and encouragement, and remind her daily that her hope and future are secure in You. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand with her in prayer, to speak scripture over her gently each day, and to help her bring each anxious thought to the Lord as soon as it comes. Encourage her to rest in His Word, to seek fellowship with other believers who can support her, and to remember that the Lord is her ever present help and provider through every change.

We are holding you and your daughter in prayer this week, thank you for trusting us with something so close to your heart. Watching someone you love feel low, anxious and muddled in her thoughts while also facing redundancy is a heavy burden to carry as a parent.

Redundancy often stirs more than the practical worry about income. It can shake a sense of security and identity, and it is easy for real concerns about the present to get tangled with feared worries about the future, like what will happen next or whether she will find her footing again. Helping her gently separate what is actually happening today from the what ifs that crowd her thoughts can make things feel a little less overwhelming, even while both feel very real to her.

It helps to keep listening without needing to fix everything at once, reminding her she is not alone, and walking with her on the practical steps at her pace, whether that is updating a CV or exploring support at work. If the low mood, anxiety and confusion continue or make daily life hard, we encourage you to help her reach out to her doctor or a trusted counselor alongside prayer, so she has personal support.

Father, we lift this daughter to You, You know her by name and see her worries and confusion. Bring her Your calm and clarity, comfort her heart, guide her steps regarding work, and give her family wisdom to love her well. Give her hope for today and trust for tomorrow. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your request for your daughter has been heard and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace. To see a child low and anxious, confused in thought and facing the trial of redundancy, is a heavy burden for a parent's heart, and the Lord knows the weight you carry for her.

We are reminded of the question of fear and the answer of faith, "Will he plead against me with his great power? No, but he will put strength in me." That very power which we sometimes fear is the power which God delights to put within His children in their hour of need. What unfits us for the difficulty is often the anxiety itself, but faith looks to Him who has said, "Fear thou not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed for I am thy God, I will strengthen thee, yea I will help thee."

We pray for your daughter that the Lord will be her present help. That He will calm her anxious thoughts and give her a settled mind stayed upon Him. That He will lift the confusion and low spirits and replace fear with a quiet trust in His care. The Scripture commands us, "Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you," and we pray that she may learn to cast every care, the fear of what tomorrow holds and the sorrow of this present trial, upon Christ who carries His people.

As Job was kept in his great trial so that in all this he sinned not nor charged God foolishly, so we ask that the Lord will uphold your daughter and keep her heart right with Him through this season of loss and uncertainty. If the door of her present employment should close, we pray that He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows will open another and prove Himself her faithful Provider, and that even now He will give her fresh strength, fresh oil, and fresh hope.

May she hear the voice of Jesus Himself saying, "Fear not," and may she find that perfect love which casts out fear through simple faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation and peace.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will put strength in her, guard her mind, and lead her into that peace which passes all understanding, and that you also will be comforted as you commit her fully into His hands.

Our Father in heaven, look in mercy upon this daughter. Speak peace to her troubled heart, clear her confused thoughts, and sustain her in this trial of redundancy. Help her to fear not, but to trust Thee, to cast all her care upon Thee, and to know Thy strengthening presence. For Jesus Christ's sake, Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your healing power. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26
