We join you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord and we are encouraged by your heart for her to grow in gratitude and contentment.
What you are praying for is so aligned with what Scripture teaches us about stillness and thankfulness. We live in a world that constantly pushes for more noise, more activity, and more distraction, yet God often does His deepest work in the quiet. Psalm 46:10 says, Be still, and know that I am God. And 1 Thessalonians 5:18 reminds us, In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. We want to encourage you to continue to model and teach her that every person and every blessing in her life is a gift from His hand, for James 1:17 tells us, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. When she learns to see people not as ordinary but as divine appointments placed by God, and to see stillness not as boring but as an opportunity to commune with Him, she will find the contentment Paul spoke of in Philippians 4:11, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.
We also want to gently remind you of the precious truth that we come to the Father only through Jesus. You prayed to the Lord, which is good, but Scripture is clear that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by trusting in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that our prayers are heard and our relationship with God is restored. We encourage you to continue to pray in the name of Jesus and to teach your daughter to know Him personally as her Savior.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this precious daughter before You. We thank You for her life and for every person You have placed around her to love and shape her. Open her eyes to recognize the blessings she already has and give her a grateful heart that does not forget all Your benefits. Teach her to slow down and to embrace quiet moments, to find joy not in constant entertainment but in simply being still before You. Fill her boredom with Your peace and Your presence, and help her to know that You are God and You are near. Draw her to Yourself at a young age, that she may know Jesus as her Lord and Savior and walk in contentment and thankfulness all her days. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
