Please pray for my daughter’s ### surgery recovery. Pray that she might be able to regain strength and stability like never before in her knee. Please pray for her connection with friends. Please help her to find an amazing group of friends that uplift and see her for the amazing girl she is. Please pray for her to be able to return to soccer with strength and a new sense of determination to play at the level she has been working so hard for. In Jesus name amen

We lift up your daughter before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to surround her with His healing power and comfort during this time of recovery. Lord, we pray for her knee, that You would restore it fully, granting strength and stability beyond what she has known before. May Your healing hand be upon her, guiding every cell and fiber to mend according to Your perfect will. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). We trust in Your promise to renew her strength, even as she waits on You (Isaiah 40:31).

Father, we also pray for her friendships. In a world where so many relationships are shallow or fleeting, we ask that You draw around her a circle of godly friends who will encourage her, uplift her, and see her as the precious daughter You created her to be. Protect her heart from loneliness or discouragement, and let her find companions who reflect Your love and truth. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).

We pray for her return to soccer, Lord. May this recovery not be a setback but a setup for something greater. Give her a renewed sense of determination, discipline, and joy in the sport she loves. Let her play not for her own glory, but as an act of worship to You, using the gifts You’ve given her to honor Your name. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men" (Colossians 3:23).

Above all, we ask that she would draw near to You during this season. May she find her identity, worth, and strength in Christ alone, knowing that her value is not defined by her performance, her friendships, or her abilities, but by the love You have lavished upon her. "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take root in her heart. Instead, we declare Your peace over her, Your joy as her strength, and Your hope as her anchor. May she rise from this season stronger in body, mind, and spirit, all for Your glory.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We know how much you’re carrying in your heart as you watch your daughter navigate this recovery, the surgery behind her, yes, but still the long stretch of rebuilding strength and confidence ahead. It’s a vulnerable place for a parent, and we’re sitting with you in it.

The thing that strikes us in your request is how these three hopes, her knee, her friendships, her soccer, all braid together into one deeper prayer: that she’d feel fully herself again, and maybe even more grounded than before. Recovery from a surgery like this isn’t just about the joint; it’s about the discouragement that can settle in when the progress feels slow or the loneliness when she’s sidelined from the sport and the teammates she’s used to doing life with. So we’re praying not only for the physical healing but for the kind of steady, patient courage that comes from knowing she isn’t forgotten.

One practical thought: if her surgeon or physical therapist has laid out a rehab plan, leaning into that with consistency, even on the dull, repetitive days, often becomes a way of reclaiming some sense of control and forward motion. It’s not flashy, but it can quietly rebuild the mental strength right alongside the physical stability.

And as much as you’re praying for good friends to surround her, sometimes that starts with asking the Lord to help her see the ones He’s already putting in her path, maybe in unexpected places while she’s off the field. We can ask Him to give her eyes to notice and an open heart to risk connecting, even when she feels less than her best.

Jesus, we lift up this daughter to You. Tend to her knee with the precision and kindness only You have. Bring the stability she needs and a recovery that surprises the doctors with its pace. While she’s waiting to return to the sport she loves, be her anchor and her refuge. And would You weave into her life a circle of friends who truly see her, who call out the strength and beauty You’ve placed in her, and who walk with her through this season. When she steps back onto the soccer field, let her play with joy, not fear. In Your strong name, Amen.

How eagerly we lift this precious daughter before the throne of grace, joining your supplication that the Lord would touch her knee and make it strong. A feeble knee cannot bear the weight of the body, nor can it bend in the wrestlings of prayer to receive heaven’s best blessings. Yet we ask that her knee may be made firm, not only that she might walk without pain, but that she might learn to kneel with power, for Christ’s soldiers win their battles on their knees. While the surgeon’s skill is a gift, it is the Almighty who knits bone and sinew; He knows what He intends to do, and His purposes are full of tender kindness. Trust that in each small increase of strength, you have a renewed claim upon His affection, and acknowledge His hand even in the slow return to health. Wonder not if the recovery creeps at first, for the Lord often ripens His choicest mercies by degrees.

Your plea for friends who uplift her soul is a prayer after the divine pattern. True friendship is no light thing; it is a reciprocal bond wherein hearts are knit in the fear of God. We will ask the Lord to guide her into the company of those who will sharpen her as iron sharpens iron, companions who see her not with the world’s flattery but with the love that spurs her toward Christ. The Shulamite heard voices crying, “Return, return,” to ease and conformity, but she heeded them not. So may your daughter discern between the hollow calls that would lead her from godliness and the sweet entreaty of the Spirit that bids her walk with the wise. God give her friends who are fellow-pilgrims on the narrow way, that she may be known by the company she keeps and find in it a foretaste of the communion of saints.

As for her return to the field of soccer, let it be with a mighty resolve born of this trial. The Lord often permits a halt in our activity that He might teach us to lean not upon natural vigor but upon His unfailing might. When she steps again upon the turf, may it be with a knee made steady not only for running but for bowing in gratitude. Let her determination be steeped in the knowledge that all her powers are lent her for His glory, and play she must with the energy of one who has been restored by the Great Physician. The prodigal could not return too quickly to his father’s house, nor can she hurry too eagerly to the labors she loves, if she go in the strength of the Lord. We will pray that her testimony on that field may shine with the grace of one who has known weakness and now magnifies the God who makes the lame to leap. The Lord be with her, for in Him we have a friend that sticketh closer than a brother, and from His hand come both the skill to play and the joy to pursue it.
