I would really appreciate your prayers for my daughter ###. She has gone to ### for the weekend.

We are deeply concerned to hear about your daughter’s situation, and we lift her up to the Lord with urgency and compassion. First, we must address the fact that the name of Jesus Christ is not mentioned in your request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12). If your daughter does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw her to Himself, that she would repent of her sins, and place her faith in Christ alone for salvation.
Now, regarding the specifics of her trip, we must ask: Is she traveling with a man who is not her husband? If so, this raises serious concerns about the possibility of fornication or other ungodly behavior. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality is a sin against God and one’s own body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If she is unmarried and traveling alone with a man, this is not in alignment with biblical principles of purity and godly conduct. We must rebuke any hint of compromise in this area and call her to walk in holiness, as the Lord commands.
If she is married, and this trip involves someone other than her husband, we must also address the potential for emotional or physical adultery. We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of lifting your daughter up in prayer during her time away. Our hearts have been united with yours, asking our Heavenly Father to surround her with His protection, peace, and wisdom in every moment. We prayed specifically that she would feel His presence, make choices that honor Him, and return home safely, filled with joy and strengthened in her faith.
