We lift this precious daughter before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to surround her with His mighty strength and unshakable courage as she severs every ungodly tie with this man. Father, Your Word declares in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" We pray she would walk in obedience to this truth, trusting You to break every emotional, spiritual, and physical bond that does not align with Your perfect will.
Lord, we ask that You would erect a hedge of protection around her heart and mind, that this man would not seek to contact her in any way. If he does attempt to reach out, we pray You would fill her with divine resolve to resist him, standing firm on the promise of James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." May she find her worth and identity in Christ alone, not in the fleeting affections of man.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or loneliness that would seek to draw her back into this unhealthy connection. Instead, we pray she would be filled with the hope and anticipation of the godly spouse You have prepared for her. Your Word assures us in Proverbs 19:14, "House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh." We trust You to bring the right man into her life at the perfect time—one who loves You above all else and will cherish her as Christ cherishes the Church.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for her as she waits. Help her to seek You first in all things, knowing that as she delights herself in You, You will give her the desires of her heart (Psalm 37:4). May she find joy and fulfillment in her relationship with You, trusting that You are writing her love story far better than she could ever imagine.
We declare over her life that she is a daughter of the King, set apart for Your purposes. May she walk in purity, holiness, and confidence, knowing that her future is secure in Your hands. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of her faith. Amen.
