We are deeply concerned as we read this request, and our hearts ache for both you and your daughter. The pain of seeing a child stray from the path of righteousness is heavy, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this burden before the Lord.
First, we must address the urgency of salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your daughter does not know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw her to Him with an unshakable conviction. The Word tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Without Christ, there is no true peace, no lasting hope, and no victory over sin. We must pray that she would repent, turn from her ways, and surrender her life to Him.
If this request involves sexual immorality—whether fornication, adultery, or any other sin—we must rebuke it in Jesus’ name. The Bible is clear: "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). If she is living in sin, we must pray for conviction, for a breaking of her will, and for her to turn back to God’s design for purity and holiness. Marriage is sacred, a covenant before God between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and any deviation from this is an abomination in His sight.
If she is involved in a relationship that does not honor God—whether with an unbeliever, in a sinful union, or outside the bounds of marriage—we must intercede for her to flee from it. The Apostle Paul warns, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). We pray that she would seek a godly spouse, one who fears the Lord and leads her in righteousness, rather than a partner who draws her away from God.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious daughter to Your throne of grace. Lord, we know that You love her even more than we do, and we ask that You would break through the hardness of her heart. If she does not know You, Father, draw her to Yourself. Let her see her need for a Savior, and may she repent and turn to Jesus Christ, the only way to salvation.
If she is entangled in sin, Lord, we ask that You would convict her deeply. Break the chains of sexual immorality, rebellion, or ungodly relationships in her life. Give her the strength to flee from temptation and the wisdom to seek Your will above all else. Father, if she is in a relationship that dishonors You, we pray that You would sever those ties and lead her to a godly spouse who will encourage her in her faith.
We rebuke every spirit of deception, lust, and rebellion that may be at work in her life. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that she is covered by the blood of Jesus. Restore her, Lord, to the path of righteousness. Surround her with godly influences—believers who will speak truth into her life and hold her accountable.
Father, we also pray for this mother’s heart. Strengthen her in her faith, give her wisdom in how to love her daughter without enabling sin, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan for her daughter’s life.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and the only name by which we can come before You. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your glory be revealed. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in faith, dear sister. Do not grow weary in praying for your daughter, for "the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" (James 5:16). Seek out a strong, Bible-believing church community that can support you in this battle. Speak truth in love to your daughter, but do not compromise God’s standards. Trust that the Lord is at work, even when you cannot see it. He is faithful, and His promises never fail.
