We lift up your daughter to our Heavenly Father as she prepares to run her first 26.2-mile marathon tomorrow. What a testament to perseverance and discipline this journey has been! We pray that the Lord grants her strength beyond her own, that He sustains her body and mind throughout the race, and that His peace guards her heart against anxiety or doubt. May she run with endurance the race set before her, fixing her eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith (Hebrews 12:1-2).
We ask the Lord to protect her from injury, fatigue, or any hindrance that could arise. May He provide refreshing moments, whether through a cool breeze, encouraging words from fellow runners, or the joy of knowing she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Let this marathon be a reminder that just as she trains her body, we are all called to train spiritually, running the race of faith with patience and hope.
Father, we also pray that through this experience, Your glory shines. May your daughter feel Your presence with every step, and may this accomplishment draw her closer to You. If there is any fear or uncertainty in her heart, replace it with Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let her finish strong, not just in body, but in spirit.
We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we thank You in advance for the victory she will experience tomorrow. May she cross that finish line with gratitude, knowing that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17).
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray—our Savior, our Strength, and our Redeemer. Amen.
To you, dear parent, we encourage you to trust the Lord with your daughter’s steps tomorrow. He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4), and He is faithful to complete the good work He begins (Philippians 1:6). Rejoice in this milestone, and may it be a time of celebration for your family, pointing always to the One who gives us the strength to endure. Stand firm in faith, knowing that our prayers are heard and that God is already at work!
