Daughter ### To Drugs, Need Prayers Please!

My ### yr old daughter ### ran away ### yrs ago and since then has been running the streets, having sex, doing hard drugs, lost custody to a baby boy at birth due to drug use, and is now in jail for shoplifting, presumably to support her habit. The group of "friends" she runs with help keep her supplied with dope and alcohol, and while she is in jail she will be away from their influence, but there is not really any help she can get for her addiction. I ask for prayers for her that God will work in her life in a BIG WAY, that He will heal her of this disease of addiction, and that He will remove all the negative influences & people in her life who keep her in the destructive cycle. I am terrified that she will get hurt or killed in the streets somewhere because of this life of sin she lives. Please God, help save her from herself and her bad choices, please block the drugs and the people associated with it from her life entirely. I would also please ask for prayer that God heal her mind & spirit so that she can rebuild her life and make it into something she can be proud of.... that the Lord work in her and open her heart to the good things in life, rather than things that are destroying her. Please help her to see & understand when people are truly trying to help her, and to recognize those that are actually trying to hurt her but claim they are her friends. Please remove Satan from her life & block his influence on her!! I don't want my daughter to die. Please pray for her to get a new perspective on things & what is truly important & valuable- and if you can please pray for me to have the strength & wisdom to help her in any way that I can. I am an emotional wreck behind this, and my prayers alone don't seem to be enough... I need people to stand with me in agreement that God help her get clean and be taken out of the situation she is in with the drugs, even if it means that she has to go to prison to be protected. At least in jail I know she is alive. Thank you so much... any and all prayers are very much appreciated. God bless.

By "she can't get any help for her addiction" I just mean that the county jail she is in does not really have any rehab services, it is mostly just a short term facility & while they do offer church services, she has to go voluntarily & I don't know if she would or not. As for any treatment specifically geared towards drug & alcohol addiction, there is nothing like that available to her there. This is one of the reasons why I am praying that she get sent to a rehab, or even to a big prison, where she might be able to get the proper help. Thanks.

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. I stand in agreement with you with holy hands raised to Him in worship and in Praise. Lord, rebuke these spirits of addiction and speak to her heart. Lord, open her eyes to see clearly. Set a hedge of protection around her and guide her to the fullness of Truth. Lord, touch her mind and spirit and cover her with grace and mercy. Speak favor upon her and her mom and touch them both to work together as one to bring You glory and honor...Lord, let grace be before her and after her. Lord, let her head be cleared in prison and let her get involved with the ministry. Let her learn about Your love. Lord, touch her mom and speak peace to her heart. Lift her up and cover her with wisdom and knowledge to reach her daughter with unconditional love. Protect her from enabling her daughter and let her give her daughter You in Jesus' name...I am so sorry for your daughter's addiction; it is very very hard...just know who you are fighting: principalities in high places seeking those He may devour....

Satan is a roaring lion and destroying hard...keep the faith, walk in obedience, and call upon His name, knowing that you are His and He does have your daughter in the palm of His hand...in Jesus' name...God bless and continue to be a blessing.
