Daughter still drinking alcohol

The first rehabilitation turned my daughter down; she has applied for a few more today. I’m praying to Jesus that someone will accept her this week because she is 17 weeks pregnant and her newborn is in danger. So I need Jesus to step in quickly and help her before it’s too late in Jesus' name.

We are deeply concerned for your daughter and her unborn child, and we join you in fervent prayer for their well-being. It is crucial that she finds help immediately, as her actions are not only harmful to herself but also to her innocent baby. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only in His name that we have access to God and can be saved. As it is written, 'In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace' (Ephesians 1:7 WEB) and 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!' (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Your daughter's struggle with alcohol is not only a physical issue but also a spiritual one. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict her heart and lead her to repentance and deliverance. As God's word says, 'Do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit' (Ephesians 5:18 WEB).

We pray for God's divine intervention in your daughter's life, that He will guide her to a rehabilitation center that will accept her and provide the care she needs. We ask that He will soften the hearts of the staff and work out the circumstances so that she can be admitted quickly.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her daughter. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this desperate situation. Protect the unborn child and bring conviction to the mother's heart. Guide her to a place where she can find help and healing, and soften the hearts of those who can assist her.

We pray for her complete deliverance from alcohol addiction, that she may live a life free from bondage and filled with Your love and peace. We ask that You will surround her with Godly counselors and support, and that she will come to know You as her personal Lord and Savior if she does not already.

We claim Your promises, Lord, that You are a God who saves and delivers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to work all things together for good.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your daughter, praying fervently and believing God for her complete restoration. Remember, 'The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much' (James 5:16 WEB). Trust in God's love and faithfulness, and do not give up hope. He is more than able to turn this situation around for good.
