Disciple of Prayer
Please help me pray for ### my prodigal Daughter, For salvation, conviction, and repentance. To come back to the Lord for she belongs to him. Amen

We stand with you in deep concern and love for your daughter, lifting her before the throne of grace. The heart of a parent for a wayward child is one that God understands intimately, for He too longs for His children to return to Him. Your daughter belongs to the Lord, and we join you in praying for her salvation, conviction, and repentance.

The Word of God tells us in Ezekiel 18:23, "Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked? says the Lord Yahweh; and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?" Our Father takes no joy in the separation of His children from Him, but rejoices when they return. We also remember the parable of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11-32, where the father waits with open arms for his son to come home. This is the heart of our Heavenly Father, He is waiting for your daughter to return.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up to Your loving care. Lord, You know her every thought, her every step, and her every struggle. We ask that You would draw her to Yourself with cords of love, that she may feel the weight of her need for You. Holy Spirit, convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment, that she may see her need for a Savior. Soften her heart, Lord, and remove any hardness or rebellion that keeps her from running back to You.

We pray against the lies of the enemy that may have taken root in her life, lies that say she is unworthy, that You do not care, or that she can find fulfillment outside of You. Break those chains, Lord, and let her see the truth of Your love and grace. We declare over her life the promise of 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." Father, let her repentance be genuine and her return to You be lasting.

We also pray for wisdom and strength for ’s mother, that she may continue to trust in You, even when the path is difficult. Give her the words to speak and the patience to wait, knowing that You are at work even when she cannot see it. Remind her of Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Though it may seem like has strayed, we hold onto the hope that You are still guiding her steps.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of rebellion, deception, or worldliness that may be influencing her. We declare that she is Yours, and we ask that You would surround her with godly influences, people who will speak truth into her life and reflect Your love. Let her see the emptiness of the world and the fullness of life that is found only in You.

We thank You, Father, that You are a God who pursues the lost and heals the broken. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You love more than we ever could. May she come to know the depth of Your love and the power of Your salvation. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing, trusting that God hears your cries. Do not lose heart, for the story of the Prodigal Son reminds us that no one is ever too far gone for God’s grace. Keep speaking life over your daughter, and trust that God is working even in the silence. You are not alone in this battle, we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you.

We hear the deep love in your simple, urgent request. The ache of watching a child walk away from the faith they were raised in, or once seemed to embrace, is a heavy burden to carry. It’s clear she belongs to the Lord in your heart, and we are honored to join you in bringing her before Him.

Sometimes the hardest part of waiting for a prodigal’s return is the silence in between. You pray, you trust, and yet the days pass without visible change. It can feel like nothing is happening. But God’s pursuit of her is not limited to what you can see. He is patient, persistent, and able to reach her in places you cannot go. Your steadfast prayers are not wasted words; they are seeds planted in soil you may not see sprouting yet.

As you continue, try not to carry the weight of her choices as if her return depends entirely on your prayers. You are not responsible for the timing of her repentance. Your role is to love her faithfully and to keep bringing her name before the throne of grace. The Holy Spirit is the one who brings conviction and draws hearts back. You can rest in that.

We are praying with you now.

Father, we lift up this beloved daughter to You. You know exactly where she is and what has pulled her away. In Your mercy, break through any deception or hard-heartedness. Grant her the gift of true repentance, not just guilt, but a genuine turning back to You. Protect her from harm while she is far off, and surround her with people and circumstances that point her toward home. Comfort her parent with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and strengthen their hope. We trust You to finish what You have begun in her life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance. Even now, before your daughter feels the stirring of grace, the Father beholds her from afar, His heart already running toward her in the swiftness of unceasing love. You do well to plead for her salvation, for she belongs to Him, and He will not lose His own. Let this be the anchor of your soul: the covenant is sure, the blood is sprinkled, and the intercession of Christ is stronger than all her wanderings. I join my prayers with yours, asking the Lord to send the Holy Spirit in convicting power, to arrest her in her course, and to speak with that still small voice which breaks the stony heart.

The repentance we crave for her is not the carnal remorse that leaves the soul unchanged, but that repentance which is unto life, a grace that gives God glory. It is not a condition of salvation, as though she must earn mercy, but a gift from the pierced hand of Jesus. Pray that she may loathe her sin, not only for its bitter consequences, but because it grieves the love that bled for her. True repentance makes a rainbow of tears wept at the cross, mingling grief with hope. Plead that the Spirit would work this in her, for it is His office to convince of sin and of righteousness.

The world calls, "Return, return!" with its seductive lies, but the voice of the Good Shepherd is louder and more tender. He bids her, "Return now!" Life is uncertain; the span between birth and eternity is but a handbreadth. We dare not presume upon tomorrow. I beseech the Lord to make haste, to cut the cords that bind her, and to give her no rest until she rests in Him. When she does but lift her eyes toward home, the Father will run, He will fall upon her neck and kiss her with the kisses of forgiveness, of restoration, of overflowing comfort. There will be no upbraiding words, only the music of mercy. All heaven will hold festival over one sinner that repenteth.

Continue in prayer, dear friend, and fear not. Faith sees the harvest while the seed yet lies in the frozen ground. The promise is written: "I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the Lord." I unite my supplications with yours, believing that the day shall declare the travail of your soul and that you shall yet say, "This my daughter was dead, and is alive again; she was lost, and is found." Even so, come, Lord Jesus, and claim Thine own. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for your daughter ascends to the throne of God, and rightly you entrust her to Him, for she belongs to the Lord. Yet remember that no one can rest the hope of salvation in another's faith. Each must repent for herself, washing away the pollution of sin with her own tears, prayers, and changed life. So pray without ceasing, but also speak to her with gentleness and long-suffering, for many who once were tares have become good wheat, Paul, the Publican, even the Thief on the cross. God does not snatch away repentance; the sacrifice of Christ is once for all, but the door to return through true confession remains wide open.

Do not despair because she wanders. If her stumbling has brought such grief, consider what her fullness will be when she turns back: how much greater the joy, how much more abundant the grace. Her present hardness only makes plain the wonder of God's patience. The sorrow you bear can work for her comfort and salvation, if you endure with hope and do not grow weary. Urge her not with harshness but with kindness, for a soul forced by fear often returns to its folly. Godly sorrow leads to a repentance that never needs to be regretted. Call her to that, and while you wait, let your own conduct be pure, your mercy constant, so that she may see in you the lovingkindness of the Lord who seeks His lost sheep.

There is a deep comfort in knowing that your daughter belongs to the Lord. That truth anchors our prayers, because no matter how far she may wander, the Shepherd will not forget His own. The cry of the Spirit is still “be reconciled to God,” and that call has not lost its power over her life.

We can ask boldly for her salvation, conviction, and repentance, remembering that the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all. That grace is not distant or reserved for a few; it is extended to her right now. The Scriptures remind us, “now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” So we do not pray as those who hope for some distant possibility. We pray as those who know God is already at work, even in the silence.

What we long to see in her is not just a passing sorrow over consequences, but a godly sorrow that works repentance to salvation. Worldly sorrow feels bad about what went wrong, but it brings no lasting change. Godly sorrow, the kind the Holy Spirit stirs, leads to a genuine turning. It brings a clearing, a holy indignation against sin, a new zeal for what pleases the Lord. That is what we are asking for: not tears alone, but a heart that changes direction and returns home.

True repentance is a gift, and it leaves no room for regret. If anyone is in Christ, that person becomes a new creation; the old things pass away and everything becomes new. God is not holding your daughter at arm’s length, waiting for her to clean herself up. He lays claim to her as His child. The same voice that calls to every son and daughter calls to her: “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.” That call can cut through confusion and draw her back.

It helps to remember that in God’s sight, daughters are precious. The world may overlook or undervalue them, but the Lord names them, protects them, and pursues them with a faithful love. He is not indifferent to her pain or to the empty promises that have lured her away. He sees her, just as He saw Dinah in her distress, just as He saw every woman the world would have forgotten. She belongs to Him, and He will not let her go easily.

Let us join in prayer, then, with confidence. Father, we bring this beloved daughter before You. You know every hidden corner of her heart. Send Your Spirit to bring deep conviction, not a fleeting guilt but a true sorrow that leads her to turn around. Open her eyes to see the emptiness of what she is chasing and the fullness of life in Christ. Remove every obstacle that keeps her from repenting, and let today be the day she hears Your voice and answers. We thank You that she belongs to You, and we trust in Your power to complete the work You began. Amen.

Keep praying with that same assurance. The One who began a good work in her will be faithful to carry it to completion. Your prayers are not in vain; they are part of how God is moving even now.
