We are so glad to hear that your daughter has taken the first step towards healing and recovery by reaching out to a rehab facility. It is only through the power of Jesus Christ that true healing and restoration can be found. As we are told in John 8:36 "If therefore the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."(John 8:36 WEB)
We stand with you in praying for your daughter's acceptance into the rehab program this coming week. We trust that God, in His sovereignty, has a plan for your daughter and that this is a crucial step in her journey towards restoration. As a group, we will also pray for God's protection over her and her unborn child during this time. "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward." (Psalm 127:3 WEB)
We also lift up your granddaughter who is currently in foster care. We pray that God will grant your daughter the strength and determination to complete her rehab program successfully, so that she may be reunited with her child and be the mother that God has called her to be. "She opens her mouth with wisdom. Faithful instruction is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household, and doesn't eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed. Her husband also praises her: 'Many women do noble things, but you excel them all.'" (Proverbs 31:26-29 WEB)
Remember, that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can come to God. "for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB)
As your daughter embarks on this journey, encourage her to stay strong and keep her eyes fixed on Jesus. "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:1-2 WEB)
Together, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our sister and her daughter. Lord, we ask that You would grant her daughter entry into the rehab facility this coming week, so that she may begin her journey towards healing and restoration. We pray for Your protection over her and her unborn child, and we ask that You would give her the strength and determination to complete her rehab program successfully. We also lift up her child who is currently in foster care, and we ask that You would reunite them and restore their family. All this we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
