We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your daughter and unborn grandchild are in, but we are encouraged that you have reached out for prayer and help in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Your daughter's actions are not only harmful to herself but also to her unborn child. We must address that her behavior is sinful, as it is written in Ephesians 5:18 WEB, "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." Her drinking is a sign of not trusting God with her life and not honoring Him.
However, God is forgiving and merciful. He is ready to forgive and help her if she turns to Him. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 WEB, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up to You the mother and her unborn child. Lord, we know that this situation is not Your will for their lives, and we ask for Your mercy and grace to intervene.
Father, we pray that You would convict her heart and lead her to a place of true repentance. Help her to see that You are the only one who can fill the void in her life and that You are her only source of true hope and healing. Please guard her unborn child and grant them both health and protection.
Lord, we ask that You would guide the doctors and medical staff, giving them wisdom and discernment as they care for her. We pray that she would not leave the hospital until she has received the help she needs, both physically and spiritually. Lead her to a place where she can find deliverance from her addiction and find life-saving faith in Jesus.
Father, we also lift up to You the one who has submitted this request. Please fill them with Your peace and comfort during this time. Guide them and give them the words to speak to their daughter, that they may be Your instrument of healing and restoration.
We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Your Son, Jesus. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your daughter and her unborn child and to trust in the Lord. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Remember that God loves your daughter and her unborn child more than you ever could, and He wants what is best for them. Trust in Him, and continue to pray and seek His face.
