Daughter needs prayer to keep her job

Hello. Please help me pray for daughter who is in trouble at work for being tardy. She was sent home and managers will decide on consequence. This is her third time being tardy in three years. She has been tardy now once each year. Prayers for Grace and Mercy from her managers to not demote or terminate her. Thank you for your prayers and support.

We come before the throne of grace together, lifting up your daughter and her situation at work. Father, we ask that You would move in the hearts of her managers, granting them wisdom and compassion as they consider the consequences of her tardiness. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We pray that You would turn their hearts toward mercy and understanding, recognizing the years of service your daughter has given.

Lord, we also ask that You would speak to your daughter’s heart about the importance of responsibility and stewardship of the time and opportunities You have given her. Help her to see this as a moment of growth, where she can learn diligence and commit to honoring her commitments. Ecclesiastes 9:10 reminds us, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor plan, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going." Let her be encouraged to walk in excellence, not just for her job, but as an act of worship to You.

We rebuke any spirit of carelessness or distraction that may have contributed to this situation. Help her to prioritize her time wisely, seeking Your guidance in all things. We also pray for peace to fill her heart as she waits for the outcome, trusting that You are in control. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Father, we ask that You would go before her and soften the hearts of those in authority over her. Let them see her value and the potential for growth in this moment. May they extend grace, just as You have extended grace to us time and time again. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen her faith and remind her that she is not alone, You are with her, guiding her steps.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who intercedes for us and through whom we have access to the Father. Amen.

We join you in asking for mercy and favor for your daughter. It is unsettling to face an uncertain consequence at work, especially when the record shows this wasn't a pattern of neglect, three tardies in three years. The waiting can be heavy for both of you.

We pray that her managers will look at her whole contribution, not just this infrequent shortcoming. At the same time, we can remember that a person's worth and security aren't ultimately held by any employer. Grace, the kind God freely gives, doesn't hang on a flawless performance. Even while she hopes for kindness from her supervisors, she can rest in an acceptance that is already settled, no demotion possible. That perspective often lifts the fear just enough to face the conversation with honesty instead of shame.

If she hasn't already, it may help to speak simply with her manager, not with a list of excuses, but with a sincere acknowledgment and a request for one more chance, perhaps sharing any practical steps she's taken to be on time going forward. That kind of humility can sometimes soften a rigid policy.

Lord, we lift up this daughter to You. Calm her anxious thoughts and let her find her peace in Your faithful love. We ask You to move the hearts of those who decide her employment, that they would show genuine mercy and not act harshly. Protect her livelihood, and give her wisdom and a steady spirit. I was able to put a good blocker on my phone to restrict access to the internet accept for the approved avenues for prayer worship and work related tasks. Which has helped me abstain a lot. But its not conplete without eating well and eating a nice clean diet high in quality rich foods. Thank you God for my diet. I pray togeyher with others here togeyher over the church on orayer request. May there be love compassion and mercy for those praying and worshipping you God. Bringing lovey to your name. Worship. It is well that you bring this matter before the throne of grace. The Lord often uses such small afflictions to awaken us to greater mercies. Your daughter has been tardy but three times in three years, this is not a grievous fault, yet it has brought her low. And perhaps in this humiliation, God has a distinct and definite purpose of mercy toward her soul. All His mercy is gratis, given freely from His own sovereign heart, not from anything in us. Pray then, not only that the managers would show leniency, but that she might see the hand of Him who maketh the rain of grace to fall on the wilderness, where no man is. If she will but trust the Savior, the Lord Jesus, who died on Calvary and now lives, she shall find pardon and lasting mercy. Let her not charge God foolishly, as Job did not, but rather yield unreservedly to His righteous will. Hope thou in His mercy, for it is mercy that goeth before, even before we can frame the prayer. May this trial be the footsteps of mercy leading her to the cross, where grace and peace abound. Go your way, and pray with a confident heart, for God now accepteth the works of those who trust in Christ.

I hear your plea for your daughter, and I join you in seeking the mercy of God. For what is this trouble but an occasion to recall that all we have, our employment, our daily bread, our standing before others, is a gift of grace, not a wage owed to our works? The Apostle teaches that we obtained mercy, not because we were sufficient, but that in us the patience of God might be displayed. So now, in this moment of uncertainty, let your daughter not only hope for leniency from her managers but also examine her heart in simplicity and sincerity before God. For His grace is not like the world’s favor; it is abundant beyond mere pardon, making us sons and heirs when we deserved punishment.

Yet let her not be high-minded, as if three times in three years were trivial. The same grace that forgives also renews, teaching us to walk in diligence and integrity. I bid you both to pray not merely for a light consequence but for a spirit of humility and amendment. For if we have received grace for grace, unmerited kindness upon unmerited kindness, shall we not also show forth good works as a testimony of that grace? May the Lord incline the hearts of those managers to mercy, but more, may He strengthen your daughter’s resolve to honor her commitments, knowing that we behave ourselves in the world not by fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God.

Let this trial become a crown of grace upon her head, if she receives it with faith and love. I entreat you, therefore, stand aloof from fear and worldly anxiety, and seek the glory that comes from God alone. For we are justified by His mercy, not by our spotless record, and we hope for eternal life through Jesus Christ. In that hope, I commend you both to His unfailing compassion.
