We join with you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord today and we thank you for bringing this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and there is no other name by which we are saved. We are encouraged by your faith to ask in His name for John 14:6 reminds us Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
University can be a time of great opportunity but also of loneliness and pressure, and we understand your heart as a parent longing for her to be confident and surrounded by people who will be a blessing to her. True confidence does not come from ourselves but from knowing who we are in Christ and that He is with us. Joshua 1:9 says Haven't I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid. Don't be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go. And 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
We also pray with you for her friendships, because Scripture teaches us how important godly companions are. Proverbs 18:24 says A man who has many companions may be ruined, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. 1 Corinthians 15:33 warns us Don't be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals. And Proverbs 13:20 says One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. Our prayer is not only that she meets kind and supportive people, but that she finds wise, faithful friends who will encourage her in her walk with the Lord and whom she can trust.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus and we lift up this precious daughter to You. We ask that You fill her heart with confidence and peace today, reminding her that her worth and strength are in You. Cast out all fear and anxiety and help her to walk boldly knowing You are with her wherever she goes. We pray You would lead her to kind, supportive and trustworthy friends, friends who love You and will sharpen her and encourage her in what is good. Guard her heart and her steps on campus, protect her from harmful influences and loneliness, and draw her into fellowship where Your name is honored. Help her to trust in You with all her heart and not lean on her own understanding, and to acknowledge You in all her ways. We pray she would grow in wisdom and joy during this season and that You would give her parents peace as they entrust her to Your care. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We join you in bringing your daughter before the throne of grace and we count it a privilege to pray with you for her.
Our prayer is that the Lord will give her that strong confidence which springs from the fear of God. As it is written, in the fear of the Lord is strong confidence, and His children shall have a place of refuge. True confidence does not come from within ourselves, but from knowing whom we have believed, and knowing that He is able to keep that which we commit to Him. May she know the Lord Jesus Christ as her keeper and her refuge, so that whether in quiet or in trial she may pray more and trust more, with a calm heart that waits upon God.
We also pray that the Lord in His kindness will bring around her friends who are kind and supportive and worthy of trust. A godly friend is a great blessing, and plain, holy, godly living in those around us does much to strengthen us in the right way. May she be led to those who will encourage her in faith and obedience, who will hedge her in with their prayers and help her to walk in the course that honours Christ. And may she herself be such a friend to others, showing the grace of God in her character and conversation.
We ask the Father to watch over her at university, to keep her from fear and from being frightened out of her confidence in God, to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and to cause her to grow in wisdom and in faith while she is there. We join you in bringing your ### before the Lord in prayer today.
We ask the Lord to give her a true confidence, not a confidence in herself alone, but confidence in Him and in His lovingkindness. Such confidence is the right foundation, yet it also calls for her own diligence, to pray continually and to walk faithfully, trusting God to keep her while she does her part with care and perseverance.
We also pray for the friends she will meet. Scripture teaches that brother aided by brother becomes like a fortified city, and that true friendship is not built on eating and drinking together or on mere convenience, neighborhood or common interests, but on godliness and virtue. There are friendships that are more harmful than open enmity, friendships that last only as long as the table is full, but those who are friends for virtue's sake remain through every change and help one another away from what leads to harm and toward what is good.
So we pray that God will lead her to kind and supportive companions, trustworthy friends who love the Lord, who are children of the church, who will encourage her in what is right and help her grow. And we pray that she herself will seek that kind of fellowship, locking shields with others in godly love, and being such a friend to others as well.
May the Lord guard her heart, grant her peace, give her courage for each day at university, and surround her with a community that strengthens her faith and helps her to stand firm. We ask this in the name of Jesus.
