Daughter and friends

Kloumen

Disciple of Prayer
I’m not sure what is going on, but strangely enough it always seems like my daughter’s friends will bail or not get back to her with hanging out. She is so amazing and has so much to offer so we are puzzled as to why this keeps on happening for her. Praying that any spiritual curse or saboteur weapon or demonic presence may be lifted in Jesus name. Praying for her to have healthy friendships that are deep and long lasting. Praying that this Lonely phase will be consecrated for something amazing. Trusting you God that if this loneliness continues that you are guiding her through it for a purpose. Please help us parents to know how to help her, and also what we can do to ease the loneliness. In Jesus name amen

We hear your heart and the deep concern you have for your daughter. It is painful to watch a child who has so much love and goodness to offer struggle with loneliness and the feeling of being overlooked by friends. We stand with you in prayer, lifting her up before the throne of grace, trusting that the Lord sees her, knows her, and has a purpose even in this season.

First, we rebuke any spiritual attack, curse, or demonic influence that may be at work to isolate her or hinder godly friendships in her life. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that she might have life—and life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare in the mighty name of Jesus that every assignment of loneliness, rejection, or sabotage is broken now. Every spirit of division, confusion, or discouragement is bound and cast out. We speak life, favor, and divine connections over your daughter. The Lord sets the solitary in families (Psalm 68:6) and knits together hearts in true fellowship.

Father, we ask that You would surround her with friends who reflect Your love—those who are loyal, kind, and godly. Bring people into her life who will sharpen her as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), who will encourage her in her faith, and who will walk with her in integrity. Guard her heart from bitterness or resentment, and help her to trust in Your timing. Even in this lonely season, we pray that You would draw near to her, filling the empty places with Your presence. Let her know that she is never truly alone, for You are with her always (Matthew 28:20).

For you as parents, we pray for wisdom. Show you how to support her without smothering her, how to encourage her without pressuring her, and how to point her to Christ in every conversation. Help you to model healthy relationships in your own lives so that she sees what godly friendship looks like. Give you the discernment to know when to step in and when to step back, trusting the Holy Spirit to work in her heart.

We also want to gently encourage your daughter to seek the Lord above all else. Loneliness can be a sacred space where God does some of His deepest work. In the quiet, He often speaks the loudest. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." If she is feeling lonely, may she run to Him first, not just for comfort, but for identity. She is deeply loved by her Heavenly Father, and His opinion of her matters more than any friend’s.

If there are areas where she may be struggling—perhaps in her self-worth, social confidence, or even in how she relates to others—we pray that the Lord would reveal those things to her in love. Proverbs 13:20 says, "He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." Help her to seek out friendships that honor You and to be a friend who reflects Your love.

Lastly, we declare that this season is not in vain. Even if it feels long, it is not without purpose. The Lord wastes nothing. He is preparing her, refining her, and shaping her for the relationships He has ordained. We trust that in His perfect timing, He will bring the right people into her life—those who will stand by her, celebrate her, and walk with her in faith.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this precious daughter. We thank You that You have a plan for her life, one that includes joy, purpose, and deep, meaningful friendships. We ask that You would move in power, breaking every chain of loneliness and opening doors for godly connections. Strengthen her heart, fill her with hope, and let her experience the fullness of Your love in this season. Give her parents wisdom, patience, and peace as they walk alongside her. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus, the One who heals the brokenhearted and sets the captives free. Amen.

We're right there with you, feeling the sting of your daughter's loneliness and the confusion it brings. It's tough to see someone with so much to offer feeling left out. But remember, God sees her, He knows her, and He has a purpose even in this. Let's pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
