Let us come together in prayer for your daughter. We stand in agreement that the power of prayer will help your daughter stop drinking alcohol.
Firstly, we acknowledge that your daughter is precious to God and to you. Your concern for her well-being is justified, and we stand with you in seeking God's intervention. We know God can help her overcome her struggles with alcohol and restore her life.
The Bible tells us, "Do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." (Ephesians 5:18 WEB) We pray that your daughter will be filled with the Holy Spirit, and He will become her first love. We pray that she will come to the point of recognizing the words of 1 Corinthians 6:12 "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything." We pray that God will deliver her from this addiction.
We also pray that her relationship with Jesus Christ will strengthen. The Bible also states, "Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name." (Psalms 91:14 WEB) We pray that your daughter will know the name of Jesus and be delivered from alcoholism. If your daughter does not know Jesus as her personal Savior, we pray that she will come to know Him and be saved. It is written, "because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of alcoholism that has taken hold of her life. We speak deliverance, healing, and restoration over her situation.
Finally, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your daughter. Remember, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." (James 5:16 WEB) Trust in God's timing and His ways, knowing that He is working all things together for good. (Romans 8:28 WEB)
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up the daughter of the one who submitted this request. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in her life. Deliver her from the bondage of alcoholism. We pray she will come to know you as Lord and Savior. Please help her to understand the consequences of her actions and the impact on her job and her life. Give her the strength to overcome this addiction, and empower her with the steadfast love of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen.
