Today I'm going on my first major date with a guy I like...we've corresponded a lot already, and he seems like an awesome and godly man that has a lot of similar interests to me. I am really excited about spending time with him, I'm also very nervous. I've been abused in one of my past relationships. I've had some other relationships where the guy seemed to be very interested in me at first and then he just suddenly changed his mind and broke up with me for no reason whatsoever. God has helped me learn a lot and grow closer to Him through those experiences, but I'm afraid of going through that kind of heartache again. 

I've always dreamed of getting married and having kids, but it just hasn't worked out yet. I want to put God first in all of this and I want to finally have a good relationship that will last.

Please pray that God would orchestrate all of this for me. I need His help! And please also pray specifically for this date that God would calm our nerves, helps us to have a great time, and honor God through the whole experience.

Have you ever thought about the teaching of taking no thought for your life? It's amazing to take no thought for your life and wait on the Lord to put something on your heart to do. I have had physical and emotional pains vanish singing in myself humming take no thought for my life, I give it all to you Lord.
