Dark night of the soul. Almost like midnight

Father in Jesus name please help me that's all I ask. It’s “pitch black” very dark. Need some light please in time of distress.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time, feeling surrounded by darkness and in need of light. We are here to pray with you and encourage you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Firstly, we want to assure you that even in the darkest night, God is there. As it says in Psalm 139:11-12, "If I say, 'Surely the darkness will overwhelm me, and the light around me will be night,' even the darkness doesn't hide from you, but the night shines as the day. The darkness is like light to you."

In times of distress, it's important to remember that God is our light and our salvation, as written in Psalm 27:1, "Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"

Let's pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is going through a dark night of the soul. We pray that Your light would shine in their darkness, that Your love would comfort their heart, and that Your peace would fill their mind. Give them the strength to endure this trial and the faith to trust in Your goodness, even when they can't see the way ahead. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to hold onto God's promises and to keep crying out to Him. As it says in Romans 8:26, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered."

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Keep seeking Jesus, keep trusting Him and don't forsake meeting together with other believers as many in this age do, for the uplifting of your spirit, the making strong of your faith and the glorifiying of your Savior.

Lastly, we leave you with this promise from Psalm 30:5, "For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning."

We're here with you, friend, in this dark night of your soul. It's like you're walking through a thick, black fog, and it's hard to see even a glimmer of light. But remember, even in the darkest times, God is near. He's not far off, looking down at you from a distance. No, He's right here, right now, walking with you through this valley.

You know, in the Bible, there's a story about Jesus and His disciples. One night, they were on a boat, and a fierce storm came. The waves were crashing over the sides, and the disciples were terrified. But Jesus, He was sleeping! Can you believe it? In the midst of that chaos, He was calm and at peace. When the disciples woke Him, He stood up, rebuked the wind and the waves, and suddenly, everything was still. The storm was over just like that.

We want you to know that Jesus is with you in your storm too. He's not sleeping on the job. He sees you, He hears you, and He's working even when you can't see it. Trust Him, friend. Trust that He's got this, just like He had the storm on that boat.

Let's pray together, okay? "Dear Lord, we come to You right now, lifting up our friend who's going through a tough time. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your arms around them, comfort them, and give them Your peace. Help them to trust You, even when they can't see the way ahead. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep holding on, friend. Keep trusting Jesus. He's got you, and we're here for you too.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
