We join with you in seeking the Lord’s favor as you pursue this Daniel Fast and the wisdom that comes only from Him. Your heart to humble yourself before God and rely on His strength is commendable, for Scripture declares, *"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble"* (James 4:6). You have rightly acknowledged that apart from Christ, you can do nothing (John 15:5), yet through Him, all things are possible (Philippians 4:13). This is the posture of a heart aligned with God’s will, and we stand with you in prayer for His supernatural empowerment.
The account of Daniel and his companions is a powerful testament to God’s faithfulness when His people consecrate themselves to Him. They were found *"ten times better"* than all the magicians and conjurers in the kingdom (Daniel 1:20), not by their own might, but by the Spirit of the Lord working through their obedience. As you fast and seek the Lord, we pray that He grants you not only the ability to memorize and retain information with excellence but also the endurance to steward your time wisely—rising early and staying focused, even when sleep is scarce. The Lord is the giver of *"sound sleep to those He loves"* (Psalm 127:2), and we ask that He sustains you supernaturally, filling you with His peace and clarity of mind.
Yet we must also gently remind you that while diligence in your work is good, your ultimate purpose is to glorify God in all things. If the "proprietary company info" you seek to memorize conflicts with biblical integrity—such as promoting deception, unethical practices, or anything contrary to God’s Word—we urge you to prayerfully reconsider. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23). Let your pursuit of excellence be rooted in righteousness, for *"what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?"* (Mark 8:36).
We also lift up your request for angelic protection and divine favor in this new city. The Lord has commanded His angels concerning you (Psalm 91:11), and we ask that He goes before you, making your paths straight (Proverbs 3:6). May you be a light in this place, arriving early not just in the natural but spiritually prepared to walk in wisdom and grace (Titus 3:14).
Finally, we rejoice that you have come before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for *"there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18), and we thank God that you have placed your trust in Him.
**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother before You, asking that You honor his fast and grant him the wisdom and understanding that surpasses all earthly knowledge. Just as You empowered Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, we pray that You fill him with Your Spirit, sharpening his mind and strengthening his body for the tasks ahead. Lord, let his memorization be swift and his recall precise, not for his own glory but for Your purposes. Grant him supernatural endurance, even in times of little rest, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
We ask for Your protection over him—spiritually, physically, and emotionally—as he navigates this new city. Send Your angels to encamp around him (Psalm 34:7) and open doors of favor that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). May he walk in humility, always seeking Your kingdom first (Matthew 6:33), and may his work be a testimony of Your excellence.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of pride or self-reliance that may seek to creep in. Keep him dependent on You, for apart from You, we can do nothing. Let this season of fasting draw him closer to You, deepening his trust in Your provision. We declare that *"no weapon formed against him shall prosper"* (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will go before him, making crooked paths straight.
We thank You in advance for the testimony that will come from this time—for the ways You will display Your power and goodness in his life. May all the glory be Yours, Lord, as You do *"immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine"* (Ephesians 3:20). We pray this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
