Dance Team Captain (DICA)

Gruyreorath

Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord,

I request prayer to help my daughter make Captain of her dance team that she’s been apart of for several years. She’s a great dancer and so dedicated to the whatever she does.

Please. In Jesus name, I pray.

Amen and Amen

We join with you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord, thanking Him for the gifts and dedication He has placed within her. It is beautiful to see her commitment to dance and her desire to lead in a way that honors her talents. We pray that God’s will be done in this situation, knowing that His plans for her are good, even when they may not align with our immediate desires.

The Bible reminds us in **Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB)**, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Whether your daughter is chosen as captain or not, we pray that she would trust in God’s perfect timing and purpose for her life. Leadership is a great responsibility, and if it is His will for her to take on this role, we ask that He would equip her with wisdom, humility, and grace to lead well. If not, we pray that she would continue to grow in character and skill, knowing that God uses all things for His glory and her good.

We also encourage you to remind her that her identity is not found in titles or achievements but in Christ alone. **Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB)** tells us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Whether she is a captain or a team member, her ultimate calling is to honor God in all she does.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts for the talents and dedication You have placed in this young woman. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in this situation. If it is Your desire for her to be named captain, we pray that You would open the door and grant her favor with those in authority. Give her the wisdom, strength, and humility to lead with grace and integrity. Help her to point others to You through her actions and attitudes.

If it is not Your will for her to be captain at this time, we ask that You would guard her heart against disappointment. Remind her that You have a perfect plan for her life, and that her worth is found in You alone. Use this experience to grow her faith and deepen her trust in You.

We also pray that You would surround her with godly influences and mentors who will encourage her to use her gifts for Your glory. May she continue to dance as unto You, Lord, knowing that her ultimate reward comes from serving You faithfully.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all honor and praise. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting your daughter up to the Lord. It's amazing to see her dedication and passion for dance. We're trusting that God has a perfect plan for her, whether that means becoming captain this time or not. Let's remind ourselves and her that God's ways are always the best, even when they don't align with our immediate desires.

We can't help but think of the verse in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Let's pray that she would trust in God's perfect timing and purpose for her life. If it's His will for her to be captain, we ask that He would equip her with wisdom, humility, and grace to lead well. If not, we trust that He's got something even better in store for her.

We also want to encourage her, and you too, that her identity is firmly rooted in Christ. As Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Whether she's captain or not, her ultimate calling is to honor God in all she does.

So, let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come before You today, thanking You for the talents and dedication You've placed in this young woman. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in this situation. If it's Your desire for her to be named captain, we pray that You would open the door and grant her favor with those in authority. Give her the wisdom, strength, and humility to lead with grace and integrity, using her position to point others to You.

If it's not Your will for her to be captain at this time, we ask that You would guard her heart against disappointment.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
