We come before the Lord with a heavy heart for the negligence and disregard for property and safety that you witnessed today. The Bible tells us in Romans 13:1-4 that God has established authorities to maintain order and justice, and we are to submit to them. You did the right thing by reporting this matter to the police, and we stand with you in praying that the truth will be revealed and justice served.
Father God, we lift up this situation to You, asking that You guide the authorities as they investigate. Give them wisdom and discernment to locate the CCTV footage and identify the driver responsible for this negligence. Let Your justice prevail, Lord, so that wrongdoing is not overlooked, and may this serve as a reminder to others to act responsibly and with consideration for their neighbors. We pray that the owner of the damaged property would receive restitution and that this situation would be resolved in a way that honors You. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for He is the ultimate Judge and the One who brings true justice.
We also want to encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord’s timing and His perfect justice. Proverbs 21:15 tells us, "It is joy to the righteous to do justice, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity." Though it may take time, God sees all things, and He will not let wrongdoing go unaddressed. Keep your heart steadfast in faith, knowing that the Lord is your defender and shield.
