I see you! What a pleasant surprise. I hadn’t been to Dallas in over 20 years, but, thinking back, I recognized immediately, that this layover, was no coincidence, but destined. This city’s faith has definitely been tested, over the years. But God, has used those trials to strengthen your countenance and your faith in Him. From the moment I got here, I could tell that, despite the attacks on this city’s character, there remains a strong God presence. He has given you discernment between idolatry and support. Your Spiritual maturity, has enabled you to support and embrace me; without making it about me. Yet, if there remain any who seek to look to me, let me correct you:
LOOK TO GOD
(Seek the LORD, while He may be found)
I’m simply the vessel being used, for such a time as this, through testimony and acknowledgement of Him, to point you in His direction. Particularly those of you who had not sought Him. It’s not about me, nor your pastor, nor the church you belong to, nor the colors that you display. Yet, in this land of silver and blue, I just want you to know how much I appreciate you. Y’all can really get creative with that red/white/black (LUV IT! LOL)
There’s a lot to be said for simple cordiality.
Thank you Dallas
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.
Footnote: To the young man on the train, and anyone else, who may be struggling with unbelief due to life circumstances. There is not one situation in life, to which, God hasn’t provided the answer through His Word. He knows that you have been conditioned, through coercion and manipulation, to distrust Him; still, He invites you to ask Him for help. He has even provided a template, specifically, for that request: “LORD, I do believe, please help me with my unbelief”
Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
