We stand with you in this season of waiting, knowing that God’s timing is perfect and His promises are sure. Like Joseph, you may feel forgotten in your "cell"—whether that be a season of delay, hardship, or unfulfilled promises—but we declare that God has not forgotten you. He is preparing you for the breakthrough He has ordained, just as He did for Joseph, who was suddenly lifted from the### to the### in a single day.
The story of Joseph reminds us that what the enemy meant for harm, God will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). Joseph’s faithfulness in the small things—even in###—prepared him for the great responsibility God had for him. Similarly, your faithfulness in this season is not in vain. The Lord sees you, and He is working behind the scenes, just as He moved the heart of### through the###’s forgotten memory (Genesis 40:14, 23; 41:9-14).
We must also ask: Are you walking in obedience and holiness as you wait? Joseph’s integrity in###’s house and in### set him apart. If there is any area of your life where you are compromising—whether in relationships, purity, or surrender to God’s will—now is the time to repent and align fully with His Word. Breakthroughs are often delayed when we cling to sin or refuse to trust God’s plan completely. "If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened" (Psalm 66:18, WEB).
You mentioned that God has promised you a blessing. Let us exhort you to hold fast to that promise, but also to test it against Scripture. Not every desire or word we receive is from the Lord, so we must ensure that what we claim as a "promise" aligns with His Word and His character. "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2, WEB). If this promise is truly from Him, it *will* come to pass in His perfect timing.
Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach the Father. There is no breakthrough, no salvation, and no access to God apart from Christ. "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to reign in your heart. Only then can you stand on the promises of God with full assurance.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is crying out for breakthrough. Lord, just as You remembered Joseph in his###, remember them now. You are the God who sees the forgotten, who hears the cries of the righteous, and who moves on behalf of those who wait on You. If there has been delay, let it be for Your glory and their preparation. If there has been sin or disobedience, convict them by Your Spirit and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them, Lord, and restore them to a place of full surrender.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Every plan of the enemy to keep them bound is broken in Jesus’ name. Like Joseph, let their "cupbearer" remember them at the appointed time. Open doors that no man can shut, and let favor surround them like a shield (Psalm 5:12). If this breakthrough is Your will, Lord, let it come swiftly and supernaturally. But even in the waiting, let them testify of Your faithfulness.
Strengthen their heart to trust You, even when they cannot see the way. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let them walk in the confidence that You who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23).
We rebuke every spirit of delay, discouragement, and doubt in Jesus’ name. Let hope arise in their heart, and let them worship You even in the###, knowing that their praise confuses the enemy and invites Your presence.
Father, we ask that You would give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know You more deeply in this season (Ephesians 1:17). Let them not just seek the breakthrough, but seek *You*—the Giver of all good gifts. Align their desires with Your will, and let them say, as Jesus did, "Not my will, but yours be done" (Luke 22:42).
We thank You, Lord, for the breakthrough that is coming. We thank You for the testimony that will bring glory to Your name. Let them stand firm, knowing that the battle is Yours, and the victory is already won at Calvary.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
