Daily/Nightly Prayer:
Dear Lord, I pray for you to forgive my sins, my friend’s, and my family’s sins. I pray you allow us to forgive ourselves and others for slip ups, and have the capability to learn and avoid repeating our errors.
Dear Lord, I pray that my Little Brother Ian and I,- KayLee,- can learn and master all of the life skills we need to survive and thrive in the next two years for me and the next four years for him. I pray Ian and I can reach and work for our aspirations in life. I pray You lead us to the right direction, to success, and can allow us to live the life of our desires in the next couple years to come. I pray that we can be anything we want to be, that we truly can achieve what we want and need in the life You’ve blessed us with. I pray that by the end of this year, I’ve mastered all of my individual skills, (writing, drawing, painting, volleyball, iMovie’s/filming, exercising/jogging, being a good person, picking anyone up when they’re down, being close to the best friend, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and girlfriend, plus anything else I may have missed,) and that Ian has mastered all of his individual skills (wrestling, football, track, baseball, being close to the best son, brother, grandson, friend, and boyfriend, plus anything else I may have missed,) to glorious, tremendously high levels. I pray that we are more than immensely satisfied with ourselves, but will always strive to do better. I pray that Ian and I can set goals for the future and know exactly where we wanna go and what we wanna do. I pray we reach every single goal, no matter what it is. (So long as no one gets hurt.)I pray that you can remove my current creativity/writer’s/artist’s block and allow me to start/finish all of my ideas and stories.
Dear Lord, I pray You keep me and my loved ones in perfect health. I pray You give all of us many healthy years to live fully and happily. I pray that there are no scares, no surprise grievances. I pray that all of my family and friends get along with one another. I pray You bless us all with peace, harmony, love, self-acceptance, and much less stress. I pray that the health levels that need to be high are high in all of us,- like blood circulation, libido, etc.
Dear Lord, I pray for my very good friends Emily, Austin, Aubree, Sabra, and Jake, as well as for an acquaintance/friend Adam. I pray that they can find both You, Jesus Christ and themselves. (If they haven’t already.) I pray You give them goals to achieve in life, that You show them what they’re purpose is. I pray that they are true to who they are and who You’ve made them to be. I pray that they’re always happy, and if they’re not I can and will be their biggest shoulder for their pain. I pray that I can be the loyal and faithful friend that they need, but that we can also branch out and find others to befriend and know as well. Between us all I pray there is no jealousy, no tension or resentment. I pray there is only love, laughter, and acceptance. I pray that Emily, Aubree, and my plan to move into an apartment together and go to school in Iowa University and live in Iowa City can become a reality, so long as Your Plan can still be in action in all of our lives. I pray that Jake and Austin can come with us, and even Sabra!
Dear Lord, I pray that Emily and her Jake (Jake B. from Maq.) are on great terms. I pray that he asks her out, and that You sent him her for a reason of only selfless and loving means. I pray that he is not just using her. I pray he truly cares for her, and falls for her deeply. I pray You protect and bless their relationship and love, but keep them both from doing something they may regret.
Dear Lord, I pray that You bless my relationship with my Jake, my neighbor. I pray you sent him to me for the best reason, and that you sent me to him for the best reason. I pray he can know who I am on the inside and out; I pray I can know who he is on the inside and out. I pray there’s never an elephant in the room, there’s never any awkwardness or secrets. I pray we can tell each other anything, and are not afraid to say what needs to be said. I pray I can be his rock, his shoulder,- the one he goes to when he’s feeling his lowest. I pray our relationship is real, is true, is strong and long-lasting. I pray You give us the ability, the drive, and the desire to build together, grow together. I pray that You didn’t bring us together just to pass the time. I pray he sees potential, magnificent potential, in me. Please don’t let my mistakes, his mistakes, or the mistakes we’ve made together alter our future, what we have, will build to have, and may have, with one another. Please keep us from moving too fast, and allow us to enjoy our time together without sexual means. I pray we can be each other’s best friends, and, if it be Your will, let us be each other’s best, true, real and only loves. I ask that You let him be happy with me, not matter where we are, what we’re doing. I pray that it is so easy for him to fall in love with me, and I pray that he does just that, deeply, truly.
I pray that, like in my dreams, I truly have his heart.
I pray that like in my dreams, he wants to wake up every morning next to me.
I pray he tells me this in sincerity, and full of love.
Thank you for not letting my father judge him. Thank you for his acceptance.
Dear Lord, I pray that I can be the person I want to be. I pray that, even though I can not keep innocent through experiences, I can keep innocent through my heart and soul. I pray that on the inside, You keep me pure and with little to no regret. I pray that I can always treat people the way I want myself to be treated, but know and become aware of who not to trust and who to be wary of. I pray that I stay/become selfless, pure, giving, generous, sweet, loving, happy always, empathetic, strong, persuasive, smart, good, and driven, etc. (in case I’m missing anything.) I pray that You never let me be jealous, overbearing, mean, without remorse, lazy during times I shouldn’t, snappish, deceptive, or unaffectionate. Please give me the control over my emotions I need. I pray You don’t allow me to overthink/over analyze anything that doesn’t need to be. Please keep me from second guessing my self when I shouldn’t. Please give me the ability to always take care of myself and others, no matter what the situation is. I pray that I catch up on sleep, and can act and think the way I’m supposed to and want to. Lord, I pray you grow me quickly, into the person I write to be, desire to be, and need/want to be physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. I pray that I always know what to say, always know what to do, how to act. I pray that to me, I can be that almost perfect person, because no one is truly the definition of perfection.
Lord, please protect my family, my friends, my loved ones, acquaintances, and anyone I don’t know today and tonight.
Please love us, always.
