Thank you for sharing this burden about your dad. I am praying with you for his eye operation, asking God for a successful outcome and for the preservation of his sight.
You came in the right way, in the name of Jesus, and that is how we have access to the Father. We do not need another mediator. Because you have believed in Jesus and love Him, the Father Himself loves you and hears you when you come to Him through His Son. Jesus and the Father are one, and Jesus has shown us what the Father is like. The words He spoke and the works He did, including healing sick bodies and restoring broken lives, were the works of the Father living in Him. To see Jesus is to see the heart of the Father toward us.
Our heavenly Father is even more gracious than earthly fathers. If earthly fathers know how to give good gifts to their children, how much more does your heavenly Father desire to give what is good to those who ask Him. He sees your dad, He knows the concern you carry for his eyesight, and He cares deeply.
I also want to remind you that you are held securely. Jesus said that no one is able to snatch those who belong to Him out of the Father's hand, and the Father is greater than all. That does not mean we will never face surgery or weakness, but it does mean your dad and your family are held in strong and loving hands through whatever comes.
So let us pray together. Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, I come to You in the name of Jesus and ask for Your mercy and help for this dear father. Please guide the hands of the surgeons, grant wisdom to the medical team, and cause this operation to be successful in preserving and restoring sight. Bring peace to this family while they wait, take away fear, and let them know Your presence and comfort. Do Your gracious work of healing according to Your will, and help them to trust You with the outcome. I ask this in the name of Jesus, amen.
