Let's remember Jesus' words in Matthew 19:14 "But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.'" It's beautiful that you're considering your child's emotions and wanting to keep her safe and calm.

Cutting your child's hair can be a special time to bond and show love and care. We encourage you to approach this task with patience and gentleness, as guided by Colossians 3:12 "Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in Jesus' name, asking for your guidance and grace as this parent prepares to cut their child's hair. We pray for steadiness in their hands, wisdom in their decisions, and a calming presence that will put their child at ease.

Lord, we ask that you comfort this child, help them to overcome their emotional struggles, and help them to understand that they are always beautiful in your eyes, just as you have made them with 1 Samuel 16:7 "For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart."

We pray for safety and patience throughout this process, and we ask that this time together will be an opportunity for their bond to grow stronger.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
