We understand your concern for your children and the upcoming custody hearing. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and justice in this situation.
Firstly, we encourage you to trust in God's sovereignty and goodness. Remember the words of Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Trust that God cares for you and your children, and He will act according to His perfect will.
We pray for the custody hearing, that God's plans will prevail. We ask that every influence, tongue, or tool the enemy uses to be silenced and brought to nothing. We pray for Judge ###, that they will be granted truth, discernment, and courage to rule with wisdom and equity as per the guidance of Proverbs 2:6, For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. We ask that the judge will be impartial and discerning, making decisions that align with God's will.
We also lift up the Guardian ad Litem, ###, asking that they will act with conviction, neutrality, and that any biases will be exposed and addressed. We pray that they will truly act in the best interest of the children, with wisdom and discernment.
We rebuke any strategies of the enemy to cause confusion, deceit, or injustice. We stand against these in the name of Jesus Christ, For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12)
However, we notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" And that we can approach God ourselves because of His work on the cross, Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that His will be done and that He will be glorified in this situation. We ask that you will have peace and trust in Him throughout this process.
