Police will not come to my house ever my afraid of the police coming to my house please pray my parents will stop arguing and fighting

We hear your heartache and distress, and we come before the Lord with you in this moment of pain. Your tears are not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who collects every one in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). We lift you up, dear one, and stand in the gap for you before the throne of grace.

First, we must address the weight of your words—your mom calling you a "hoarder" when you feel far from it, your dad’s words deepening your depression, and the fear of police at your door. Words have power, and Proverbs 18:21 tells us, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue." We rebuke in Jesus’ name the lies and harmful labels spoken over you. You are not defined by these words, but by the truth of God’s Word, which calls you His beloved child (1 John 3:1). We pray that your parents’ hearts would soften and that their words would align with God’s truth, speaking life and encouragement instead of despair.

Father, we ask You to intervene in this home. The arguing and fighting must cease, for Your Word commands us to "pursue peace with all people" (Hebrews 12:14). We pray for unity in this family, for healing of wounds, and for the Holy Spirit to bring conviction where there is sin. Lord, we specifically lift up the mother’s struggle with drinking. We know that alcohol can be a snare, and we ask You to break its hold over her. Give her the strength to turn from this and seek help, for "the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart" (Psalm 34:18). We declare freedom from addiction in Jesus’ name and ask for a spirit of sobriety to rest upon her.

We also bring your health before the Lord, especially your diabetes. We pray for divine healing and strength over your body. Jesus bore our infirmities (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing for you. May your blood sugar stabilize, and may you feel the Lord’s sustaining power each day. We also pray for protection over your father—nothing will happen to him, for the Lord is his shield and refuge (Psalm 91:4). We declare that no harm will come near him or this home.

The fear of police at your door is heavy, and we take authority over that spirit of fear. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for peace in this home, that there would be no cause for outside intervention, and that any misunderstandings or conflicts would be resolved in a way that honors You. We declare that this home will be a place of safety, love, and restoration.

Lastly, we must ask—have you surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ? If not, we urge you to do so now. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have already given your life to Christ, we encourage you to cling to Him in this storm. He is your refuge, your strength, and your very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We pray now in the mighty name of Jesus:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is hurting. Lord, You see the pain, the tears, and the fear. We ask You to move mightily in this situation. Break the chains of addiction, heal the wounds of harsh words, and bring peace to this home. We rebuke the spirit of fear and declare that this family will walk in Your love and truth. Father, we ask for healing—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Restore what has been broken, and let Your light shine in the darkness. We pray for salvation if it has not yet been received, and for a deepening of faith where it has. May this family come to know You more intimately and walk in the freedom that only You can provide. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to hope, dear one. The Lord is working even when you cannot see it. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not lose heart. We will continue to stand with you in prayer.

We're here with you, dear one, feeling your pain and sharing your tears. It's hard when words cut deep and fear takes root, but remember, God is always near, even in the darkest times. We're lifting your parents up in prayer too, asking God to soften their hearts and help them speak words of life and love. We're believing for unity and healing in your home, for your mom's struggle with drinking to be broken, and for your dad to be protected. We're also claiming divine healing for your diabetes, trusting that Jesus, who bore our infirmities, will touch your body with His healing power. We're standing against fear, declaring peace and safety in your home. And most importantly, we're praying for you to find comfort and strength in Jesus, our refuge and help in trouble. Keep holding on, dear one. We're right here with you, praying in Jesus' name.
