Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I am in great distress.
Please pray with me in the Name of Jesus.
It's about returning to work.
I am in deep poverty and quality of life is low.
No money even for medical needs and I've recently had a dangerous reaction to pain medicine,
meaning I'm very limited in what pain medicines I can have for the rest of my life.
The Social Security Employment are trying to force me onto an unpaid employment scheme.
This is is going to directly conflict with my return to work, especially as I was arranging supported self-employment.
It is a very very bad thing. They make people work for no pay, I'm disabled and I was registering on support into self-employment,
which allows me to manage my hours and the multiple disability, while essentially what they're trying to put me on is known a slave labour,
employers who don't want to pay a wage or pay pension, they just use people the social make work for free. The free labour people have no rights, no pension or future.
I'm getting real job interviews but preparing for the self-employment scheme, and they are threatening to take it all and take the social security unless I agree to work unpaid in an environment not right for disabled people.
Please pray. Amen

We have heard your cry for help and we are joining with you in prayer in the Name of Jesus, for we know He hears the distressed and draws near to those who call upon Him.

We understand the weight you are carrying, deep poverty, low quality of life, medical needs with very limited options for pain relief after a dangerous reaction, disability, and now the pressure and fear of being forced onto an unpaid work scheme that would undermine the supported self employment you have been arranging to manage your health and hours. We also hear your concern about getting real job interviews while being threatened with loss of support if you do not comply with a system that feels unjust and exploitative. The Lord sees all of this and He is not indifferent to oppression or to poverty.

The word of God tells us The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. He executes justice for the oppressed and gives food to the hungry Psalm 146:7. We also take comfort that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and that we are to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. When we lack wisdom about difficult decisions and bureaucratic pressures, we can ask God, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We are also reminded Fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We want to encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also taking wise and practical steps. God honors honest work and He also honors our limitations. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23, yet He also knows our frame and that we need rest and suitable conditions, especially with disability. We encourage you to document everything, keep copies of all communications from Social Security Employment, seek godly and practical advocacy where possible, such as disability rights advice, legal aid, medical documentation about your pain medicine reaction and your multiple disabilities, and support workers who understand supported self employment. Pray for favor and clarity in your job interviews and for wisdom to discern the right path forward, trusting that God can open doors no man can shut and can make a way even when systems feel overwhelming. For we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

We join together now and pray for you.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne together in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and have access to You Acts 4:12, John 14:6. We lift up our dear brother or sister in deep distress to You. Lord, You see the poverty, the medical needs, the pain and the fear about medicines that can no longer be used, and the disability that limits hours and strength. Have mercy and provide healing, wise medical guidance, and relief that is safe for this body You created. We ask You to be Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and to supply daily bread, financial provision, and dignity in work.

Lord, we ask for Your justice and intervention concerning this employment scheme. You love justice and You defend the cause of the weak. We pray that You would thwart any plan that would exploit or harm, and that You would give favor with caseworkers, decision makers, and potential employers. Let truth and fairness prevail. Grant wisdom to know how to answer, what paperwork to provide, and when to appeal or seek help. We pray for the supported self employment opportunity and for the job interviews, that You would guide to work that fits the limitations and gifts You have given, work that allows honest provision with proper rights, pension and future, and that honors You.

We pray for peace that surpasses understanding to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7, and for strength not to grow weary in doing good. Remind our friend that You have plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give a future and a hope Jeremiah 29:11, and that we can trust in You with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding Proverbs 3:5-6. Sustain this dear one day by day, Lord, and let Your presence be felt in a powerful way.

We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus Name and we trust You to act according to Your perfect will. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

We hear how much pressure you are under right now, trying to move back into work while living with very little, managing multiple disabilities, and dealing with a recent frightening reaction to pain medicine. It makes sense that this unpaid placement feels so threatening, especially when you have been working toward self-employment that would let you manage your hours and health, and you are already getting interviews on your own.

We are praying for steadiness and for clear, fair next steps in this tangle with Social Security. One thing that often helps in this kind of situation is not facing the system alone. If you can, we encourage you to connect soon with a local disability advocacy service, welfare rights adviser, or employment support worker who knows the rules for supported self-employment and reasonable adjustments. Bring your medical notes about the medicine reaction, your self-employment plan, and any letters about the unpaid scheme, and ask them to help you put your preferences and limits in writing and to clarify what is voluntary and what is required.

Please also keep your clinician in the loop about pain management, alongside our prayers, so you have safe options going forward.

Father, we lift this need to You in Jesus name. Provide for daily needs, guard health, grant wisdom and favor in interviews and in every conversation about work, and make a workable path forward that respects dignity and limits. Give peace in the waiting and trusted people alongside. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for help has been heard and we have carried it before the Lord with you in the Name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and in whose blood alone there is salvation.

We are deeply moved by the weight you bear, the low estate of poverty, the want even for medical needs, the dangerous reaction to pain medicine which has left you so limited for the time to come, and the pressure put upon you by those who would force you into unpaid labour to the hindering of honest and suitable work. Be assured that the Lord sees your condition and knows all about it. As it has been preached among us, there is no poverty, there is no reproach, there is no pain of body in this world among them that fear God, but what the Lord sees it and has a pity to them that endure it. For like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear Him. He registers every wrong done to His people in His archives and He will not forget His hidden ones, whom He hides with a view to safety though the world may make a noise against them.

You desire what is right and good, to provide for yourself by honest labour, to manage your hours with wisdom under the burden of multiple disability, and to walk in the way of supported self employment rather than to be used without wage or pension or future. Such a desire for dignified work is honourable before God. We do not ask God to bless oppression or the using of men for free labour, for that is contrary to justice, but we do ask Him to establish the work of your hands and to open a door for you that no man can shut. We thank God that you are receiving real interviews and that you have shown diligence in preparing for self employment. May the Lord who has taught you from your youth continue to be your teacher and to make you also to declare His wondrous works, even in this trial.

Remember the innumerable mercies of God. You know not the numbers thereof, for every mercy comes to you by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood. Though His promise may tarry, it never fails. Has God forgotten to be gracious. No, He has given commandment to save you, and that command shall be obeyed. The whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now, waiting for the redemption of the body, and your present groaning under pain and poverty is not unheard in heaven. There will be a resurrection both of the just and of the unjust, and for those who are in Christ, that resurrection is unto life and full restoration. Therefore live not only for this present necessity, but set your hope fully upon the grace that is to come, while you seek daily bread with patience.

Let us pray with you.

O Lord our God, You have taught this our afflicted brother and sister from their youth, look upon them now in their poverty and pain. Have pity according to Your fatherly compassion. Provide for their medical needs, give wisdom to physicians concerning pain relief that will not harm, and grant relief and strength to a body that is weak and limited. In Your mercy, grant favour in the interviews that lie before them and prosper the honest preparations for self employment, that they may labour with their own hands and provide for themselves in a manner suited to their disabilities. Frustrate every unjust demand that would force them into labour without pay or rights, and move the hearts of those in authority to act with justice and understanding toward the disabled. Give Your child counsel, advocates and helpers who will speak for them, and guard them from fear. Above all, keep them trusting in Jesus Christ Your Son, whose blood cleanses from all sin, that they may know they are Yours, not forsaken, but kept as Your jewel. Hear us for Jesus sake. Amen.

We will continue to remember you before the throne. Cast your burden upon the Lord and He shall sustain you, and seek Him daily in His Word, for His Word is preserved century after century as His living voice to you still.
