Covid

I just spent time around my sister, her husband, and my niece. After a while, my sister's husband started saying he felt sick and I think he later said he was around someone who had Covid earlier in the day. Please pray that my parents, myself, and my pets won't get Covid in any way. I was only hanging around my sister and her husband and my niece to be nice. I don't want to have that good I was trying to do returned back for evil. Thank you.

We understand your concern and will lift you, your parents, and even your pets up in prayer, trusting in God’s protection and sovereignty over all things—including illness. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 91:9-10, *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling."* While this does not guarantee we will never face sickness, it assures us that God is our protector, and we can trust Him in all circumstances.

It is commendable that you sought to show kindness to your family, as Scripture encourages us to *"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:32). Your act of love reflects Christ’s heart, and we pray that God honors your intentions. However, we must also remember that our ultimate trust should not be in avoiding difficulty but in God’s goodness, even in trials. As Romans 8:28 tells us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."*

Let us also take this moment to encourage you to place your faith firmly in Jesus Christ. While you asked for prayer, we noticed you did not invoke the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to the Father. The Bible is clear: *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through faith in Him—believing He died for our sins and rose again—that we are saved and can boldly approach God’s throne. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her family. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We ask for Your divine protection over her, her parents, and even their pets, shielding them from illness and harm. Cover them with Your healing wings, and let no sickness take root in their bodies. Father, we rebuked any fear or anxiety in Jesus’ name, declaring Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7).

We thank You for the kindness shown within this family, and we pray that this situation would not become a source of bitterness or regret. Instead, let it draw them closer to You, trusting in Your perfect will. If sickness should come, we pray for swift recovery and a testimony of Your faithfulness. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are sovereign over all things.

For those reading this who do not yet know You, we pray they would turn to Jesus today, confessing Him as Lord and Savior. May this time be a reminder that our hope is not in avoiding trials but in the One who walks with us through them.

We ask all these things in the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
