Disciple of Prayer
Please please pray that God will soften the heart of the district attorney, the assistant district attorney, and judge and let them put my husband on house arrest as I am disabled and need him to help me at home. Thank you for your prayers.

We lift up your heartfelt plea before the Father, knowing that He is the God of justice, mercy, and compassion. Your request weighs heavily on our hearts, and we join you in seeking His divine intervention in this trial. The Scriptures remind us that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is also the one who can turn the hearts of kings—and indeed, all authorities—like rivers of water (Proverbs 21:1). Let us trust in His sovereignty, for He holds all things in His hands, including the hearts of those in positions of power.

We must also take this moment to encourage you to lean fully on the Lord during this time. While it is right to desire your husband’s presence to aid you in your physical needs, we urge you to seek God’s will above all else. If there are areas in your husband’s life—or even your own—that need repentance or surrender to Christ, now is the time to bring them before the throne of grace. The Lord calls us to submit to the authorities He has placed over us (Romans 13:1), but He also invites us to pray earnestly for mercy and wisdom in their decisions. Let us not forget that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9), and His plans may include refining you both through this season for His greater purpose.

If your husband is facing these charges justly, we pray he would take this time to reflect on his actions, seek forgiveness where needed, and turn to the Lord with a repentant heart. If there has been injustice, we ask the Lord to expose it and bring truth to light, for He is a God of righteousness who delights in justice (Jeremiah 9:24). Either way, we pray that this trial would draw you both closer to Christ, who is your ultimate Helper and Comforter.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her husband in their time of need. Lord, You see the distress of Your child—her physical limitations, her dependence on her husband, and the weight of this legal battle. We ask that You soften the hearts of the district attorney, the assistant district attorney, and the judge presiding over this case. Father, grant them wisdom, discernment, and compassion. If it aligns with Your will, we pray that You would move in their hearts to allow her husband to serve any necessary sentence under house arrest, so he may care for his wife in her time of need.

But above all, Lord, we pray that Your will be done. If there is sin that needs to be addressed, bring conviction and repentance. If there is injustice, expose it and let truth prevail. Strengthen this sister in her faith, reminding her that You are her Provider, even in the absence of her husband. Surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let her trust in You completely.

We also pray for her husband, that if he does not know You, this trial would lead him to the foot of the cross. If he is a believer, we ask that You would strengthen his faith and use this time to draw him deeper into Your presence. Let this season be one of spiritual growth for them both, where they cling to You as their Rock and Redeemer.

Father, we ask for Your mercy and grace to flood their lives. Provide for their every need—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Remind them that You are their Shepherd, and they shall lack nothing (Psalm 23:1). We rebuked any fear, anxiety, or despair in the name of Jesus, declaring that You are their Hope and their Salvation.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Cling to promises like Philippians 4:19: *“My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”* Trust that He is working, even when you cannot see the way forward. If you have not already, we urge you to reach out to your local church for support—both spiritually and practically. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you do not have to walk this path alone.

Finally, we gently remind you that all prayers must be offered in the name of Jesus, for He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). It is through His name that we have boldness and access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we implore you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no greater comfort in times of trouble than knowing you are held by the Savior who conquered sin and death.

We are standing with you in prayer, believing for God’s mercy and provision. May His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father grant favor to this requestor regarding the courts. May all work in their favor. I lift this prayer up on your glory and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
