Father, I pray Your presence has been strong and true with this person today. We know You are not a God of "instant" miracles when we call upon Your name, but we do stand on the promises of Your Word to never leave us nor forsake us. I would ask this person to remember and reflect on Jeremiah 29:11 each day - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
