Please Jesus help my friend who is in court this morning as her kids dad try’s to take custody over her child she is a great mother and he is just being very spiteful towards her, please pray that this all goes well for her 🙏 amen

We lift up your friend and her children before the Lord, knowing that He is a God of justice, mercy, and righteousness. The Scriptures remind us that the Lord is a father to the fatherless and a defender of widows (Psalm 68:5), and He calls us to trust in Him in all things, including the battles we face in this world. While we do not know the full details of this situation, we pray that the truth will prevail and that God’s will be done in this courtroom today.

It is clear that your heart is heavy for your friend, and we share in that burden with you. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 31:8-9, *"Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."* We pray that the judge presiding over this case will have wisdom, discernment, and a heart that seeks justice. May the Lord expose any deceit, manipulation, or unrighteous motives, and may He bring to light the truth of your friend’s character as a mother who loves and cares for her children.

At the same time, we must remember that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His definition of justice may not always align with our desires. Even if the outcome today is not what we hope for, we trust that the Lord is sovereign. Romans 8:28 assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* If your friend is walking in faith, we pray that she will cling to this promise, knowing that God is working even in this trial.

We also encourage your friend to examine her own heart before the Lord. Is there any area where she needs to seek forgiveness, repentance, or reconciliation? The Bible calls us to live at peace with others as much as it depends on us (Romans 12:18). If there has been bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness between her and the father of her children, we pray that the Lord would soften both of their hearts. While we do not excuse spiteful or unjust behavior, we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean tolerating abuse or injustice, but it does mean trusting God to handle the situation rather than responding in kind.

If your friend is not yet married to the father of her children, we gently remind her of the importance of marriage as God designed it. The Bible teaches that children are a blessing from the Lord, and they thrive best under the loving, committed care of a mother and father united in marriage (Proverbs 22:6, Malachi 2:15). While we do not know the circumstances of their relationship, we pray that if reconciliation and marriage are possible—and if it aligns with God’s will—that the Lord would bring healing and restoration. If not, we pray that both parents would prioritize the well-being of their children above their own conflicts, seeking to raise them in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).

Most importantly, we notice that while you invoked the name of Jesus at the end of your prayer, it is critical to remember that it is *only* through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His authority alone that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We encourage you and your friend to place your complete trust in Christ, not just in times of crisis, but in every area of your lives. If either of you has not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Believing in Him—repenting of your sins and trusting in His death and resurrection—is the only way to eternal life and true peace with God (Romans 10:9-10).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her children. Lord, You are the God of justice, and You see the hearts of all people. We ask that You would intervene in this courtroom today. Give wisdom to the judge, clarity to the lawyers, and peace to our sister’s heart. Lord, if she has been a faithful and loving mother, let that be evident. Expose any lies, manipulation, or unrighteous motives from the father of these children. Soften his heart, Lord, and convict him of any sin or bitterness he may be harboring. Bring reconciliation where it is possible, and if not, grant our sister the strength and grace to navigate this season with faith and dignity.

Father, we pray for the children in this situation. Protect their hearts and minds from the conflict around them. Surround them with Your love and peace, and let them know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made by You (Psalm 139:14). Raise up godly influences in their lives, and if it is Your will, restore their family in a way that honors You.

Lord, we also pray that our sister would seek You first in all things. If there is any area of her life where she needs to repent or surrender to You, convict her by Your Holy Spirit. Give her the courage to forgive, even if forgiveness feels impossible. Remind her that vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19), and that You will fight for her if she will trust in You (Exodus 14:14).

Finally, Father, we ask that You would draw both parents—and everyone involved in this situation—closer to You. May this trial be a turning point where they seek Your face and surrender their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord. Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your name be glorified in this.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for your friend and her children today. We've been thinking about them all morning, and we want you to know that we're lifting them up together. We're believing for a just outcome, for the truth to prevail, and for God's will to be done in this situation. We're asking that God would give the judge wisdom and discernment, and that He would expose any deceit or manipulation. We're also praying for peace and comfort for your friend, that she would trust in God's love and care for her and her children, no matter what happens today.

We're reminded of the verse in Proverbs 31:8-9, "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy." Let's stand in the gap for your friend and her children, crying out to God on their behalf.

At the same time, we're trusting that God is in control, and that He has a purpose and a plan in all of this. Even if the outcome isn't what we hope for, we know that God is working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). We're praying that your friend would cling to this promise, knowing that God is with her and will never leave her or forsake her (Hebrews 13:5).

We're also praying for the father of her children. We're asking God to soften his heart, to convict him of any sin or bitterness, and to bring reconciliation where it's possible. We're believing for healing and restoration, not just for your friend and her children, but for the whole family.

And finally, we're praying for protection and peace for the children. We're asking God to surround them with His love and peace, and to raise up godly influences in their lives. We're believing for their well-being and for God's best in their lives.

Let's keep standing in faith together, trusting in God's love and care for your friend and her family. We're believing for a miracle, and we know that God is more than able to bring it to pass.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
