First, let us address the foundation of your relationship—if you and your boyfriend are not yet married, Scripture is clear that your relationship should be one of godly courtship with the goal of marriage. "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4). If you are living together or engaging in sexual intimacy outside of marriage, we must gently but firmly rebuke this as sin and encourage you to repent and seek the Lord’s forgiveness, for His ways are always for our good.
Now, regarding your mother, we understand your fear is real, but we serve a God who does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The Lord sees your desire to honor your mother while also honoring Him, and He will equip you for this conversation.
