Courage and honesty…. To stay alive

Please pray for me that I don’t want to take my own life and to have courage and strength to get honest with myself and stay sober.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend ### in prayer. Lord, we acknowledge that You are the source of all strength and courage. We ask that You would surround ### with Your love and peace, filling their heart and mind with Your presence.

Father, we pray specifically for ###'s desire to overcome the thoughts of taking their own life. We know that You are the giver of life, and we ask that You would intervene in this situation. Bring comfort to their soul, Lord, and remind them of their worth and purpose in Your eyes. Help them to see that their life has value and that You have a plan for them.

Lord, we also lift up ###'s struggle with addiction. We know that overcoming addiction can be a difficult journey, but we believe in Your power to bring healing and deliverance. Strengthen ###, Lord, and grant them the courage to face their struggles honestly. Surround them with a support system of loving and understanding individuals who can walk alongside them on this journey to sobriety.

In Your Word, Lord, You promise that You are able to save to the uttermost those who come to You. We claim this promise for ### today. We ask that You would pour out Your grace and mercy upon them, empowering them to overcome every temptation and stronghold.

Father, we also pray for ###'s mental and emotional well-being. Bring healing to any wounds or traumas that may be contributing to their struggles. Fill their mind with thoughts of hope, peace, and self-worth. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes, as a beloved child of God.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your unfailing love. We trust in Your power to bring transformation and restoration in ###'s life. May they experience the freedom and joy that comes from walking in Your ways.

Let Your Word be a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. God bless me with Your favor, knowledge, wisdom, peace, protection, prosperity, strength, and success in all You have called me to do. And bless me to do all You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory.

God bless me with the strength, desire, and passion to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
