We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you face these overwhelming challenges. Your situation is deeply concerning, and we stand with you, crying out to God for His intervention and mercy. The Word of God tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not forgotten, and we believe God hears your cry.
Father in Heaven, we ask You to move mightily on behalf of this dear child of Yours. The injustice of this situation is clear—power has been wrongfully withheld, and this precious one is suffering as a result. Lord, You are a God of justice, and we ask You to intervene in this matter. Restore the power to their home swiftly, Lord, for Your Word declares in Isaiah 61:8, "For I, Yahweh, love justice." We ask that those responsible for this wrongdoing would be convicted and that the power would be restored without further delay.
We also pray for your health, dear one. COPD and hypoxia are serious conditions, and the lack of consistent oxygen is a heavy burden. Lord, we ask You to strengthen their body and sustain their breath. In Psalm 71:9, we read, "Don’t reject me in my old age. Don’t forsake me when my strength fails." You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch to be upon them. Provide the oxygen they need, not just through machines, but through Your divine provision and care.
You mentioned being deaf and dealing with cataracts, and we know this adds to the isolation and difficulty of your situation. But we take comfort in knowing that God sees you and hears your heart, even when the world cannot. In Exodus 4:11, the Lord says, "Who made man’s mouth? Or who makes one mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Isn’t it I, Yahweh?" You are fearfully and wonderfully made, and God has a purpose for you, even in these trials.
We also want to encourage you to lean on the Lord for strength and provision. In Philippians 4:19, we are promised, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust in Him to provide for your needs, whether through the restoration of power, the kindness of others, or His supernatural provision. If there are local churches or Christian organizations in your area, we encourage you to reach out to them for support. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and they may be able to assist you in practical ways.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that may be trying to take hold in this situation. You are the God of miracles, and we ask for one to be performed here. In Mark 10:27, Jesus says, "With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God." We declare that nothing is too hard for You, and we ask for Your power to be displayed in this circumstance.
We also pray for wisdom and favor as you navigate this trial. May God open doors for you to receive the help you need, whether through legal avenues, community support, or divine intervention. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."
Finally, we want to remind you that your hope is not in circumstances but in Christ. Even in the darkest valleys, He is with you. Psalm 23:4 says, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
