Convict Jn16:8, Hedge w/Thorns Ho 2:6, Church, Family Intervenes Mt 18:16-17, Clarity, Inner Healing Isa 1:6, Ps 23:1-6, Avoids Imposters 2 Tim 3:5

Nothing stays hidden from the eyes of the Lord. Every profile, every encounter, every secret recording, He beholds it all, and He is not mocked. What a person sows to the flesh will reap corruption. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, and that fear brings a man to depart from iniquity. There is no true reverence for God where sin is coddled or excused. Pride, the evil way, and the perverse mouth are things wisdom itself declares it hates. You cannot cling to what God calls an abomination and still claim to walk in His fear.

Her online profiles have become a wide net for destruction. The prayer for a hedge of thorns is exactly what Hosea pictures, a wall she cannot break through, a path she cannot find, until the futility of chasing lovers drives her back. Wisdom cries out to preserve us from the evil man and from the stranger who flatters with her words. Discretion keeps a soul from the way of destruction. But she has to incline her ear and apply her heart to understanding. The simple keep going and are destroyed; the prudent see danger and remove their foot from evil.

The body carries the wounds of rebellion. From the sole of the foot to the head there is no soundness, only bruises and raw sores. That is not just physical disease. It is the condition of a soul handed over to lust. Yet wisdom brings health to the body and marrow to the bones. Departing from evil is the beginning of restoration. The Good Shepherd restores the soul. He leads in paths of righteousness. Inner healing starts with hating what God hates and turning from it.

It is an abomination to justify the wicked. When a pastor fears man more than God, he honors what the Lord despises. Scripture says the backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways. A compromised leader who blocks reproof is already eating that fruit. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. The house built without wisdom cannot stand. But God raises up those who will wield the sword of the Spirit faithfully. The Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit. It discerns the thoughts and intentions of the heart. That Word must be brought with zeal, not negligence, to the one in bondage. Her family and the church must intervene, as our Lord taught, not stand by while she is devoured.

She needs to see that the imposters and the secret filming are not random misfortune. They are the reaping. Evil men proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. To keep company with them is to walk in darkness. Wisdom delivers from the way of the evil man, from those who speak perverse things and rejoice to do evil. When you lie down with dogs, you rise with fleas. The answer is not better screening. The answer is repentance.

There is mercy with the fear of God. We hate even the garment stained by the flesh, but we reach out to snatch the soul from the fire. God may grant her repentance and escape from the snare of the devil, who has taken her captive to do his will. The sweetness of a desire accomplished becomes a snare when the desire is wicked. But the Lord receives those who return. They will find refreshing when they bear fruit in keeping with repentance.

Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of the wicked. Their strength will fail. Trust in the Lord’s strength, and you will not be put to shame. Keep your eyes straight ahead. Ponder the path of your feet. Do not turn to the right or to the left. The Lord directs the heart of the one who submits to Him. He gives more grace to fast, to pray, to stand. He puts a new song in the mouth of the delivered.

Everything is naked and open before the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. The eyes of the Lord are in every place, watching the evil and the good. The secret things will be shouted from the rooftops. How much better to fall on the rock and be broken now than to meet Him as judge with a record of unrepented sin. The axe head is dull. More strength is wasted. Wisdom sharpens the edge and makes the work effective. Put away evil from the flesh. Youth and its passions are vanity. Walk in the wisdom from above, which is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy.

The Lord lead her to a true fear of His name. May she learn to hate evil, to shut down every avenue of temptation, and to sit under the faithful wound of a friend. Stripes that wound cleanse away evil. The goal is not merely to stop the behavior but to possess a heart washed and made new, yielding to the only Master and Lord.
