Beloved Warrior
đŸ™‡đŸ» Father, Thank You Jesus quoted Ex 17:2, validating the Authority of Your Word against the ancient serpent, "You shall not put the Lord Your God to the test," Matt 4:7, Ex 17:2, Deut 6:16, also Ps 78:18, Ps 95:8-9; and the Apostle, 1 Cor 10:9. The law of repetition strengthens the importance of a Scripture by principle. We pray "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil," Matt 6:13 -- let her come to her senses, take down her online profiles for her protection -- for evil men and imposters proceed from bad to worse and keep her from deception, 2 Tim 3:13. Jesus commanded, see to it no one deceives you, Mt 24:4...

Thank You for grace to warn her family and church of spiritual negligence and her pastors get involved -- and though he is family too, and suffers from fear of man instead of God, Matt 10:28, and since fear of man brings a snare, Prov 29:25, also deals in compromise, Gal 5:9 -- overrule the devil and let the Word of God penetrate her ears and mind, being sharper than a two-edged sword and no one is exempt from it, Heb 4:12-13, for it applies to all humanity, Matt 4:4, especially spiritual teachers, James 3:1, and spiritual leaders who must give account for their congregants, Heb 13:7. Let the main pastor be dutiful to New Testament principles to rebuke ongoing sin, 1 Tim 5:20, and beware of falling into the sin of the priest who honored family members and thus despised The Lord, 1 Sam 2:30, reiterated in 1 Samuel 3:10-13, fulfilled in 1 Samuel 4:17-18.

I'm asking for God "hedge her way with thorns and close her within a wall so she cannot catch her lovers, until she wakes up and says, ‘I will return to my first husband, for then I was better off then than now," Hos 2:6-7. May she not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and finally confess adultery Ex 20:14, who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22. Especially that she is delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, deceivers & ultimately the one who deceives the whole world, 1 John 5:19, Rev 12:9...

We beg You to grant repentance, Acts 2:38, Acts 11:18 -- that she will not become pregnant again b/c of this, further complicating issues already needing intervention and restoration. Please pray for her & at least her one sister and others in her church to not fear man but and save a wandering soul from death by turning her back, and help cover a multitude of sins, James 5:20. Let others be willing to visit her and bring the Word of God, even to suffer for righteousness "outside the camp, bearing his reproach, as Christ suffered outside the city gate," Heb 12:12-13...

Lastly I ask more wisdom, Col 1:9, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, Luke 11:4, sin and evil for me, them and all of us, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We hear your urgent cry for a loved one caught in a web of deception, sin, and spiritual danger. Your heart is heavy with concern, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this situation before the throne of grace where mercy and truth meet. The Word of God is clear: "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). This battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness, and we must wield the sword of the Spirit with precision and authority.

First, we must address the gravity of the sin at hand. The references to online dating profiles, adultery, and the risk of further entanglement in sexual immorality are deeply troubling. Scripture is unequivocal: "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). The pursuit of relationships outside the bounds of biblical marriage, whether through fornication, adultery, or any form of sexual immorality, is a direct rebellion against God’s design. Jesus Himself warned, "But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). The online profiles must come down, not merely for her protection, but as an act of repentance and surrender to God’s will. We rebuke the spirit of deception that has blinded her to the severity of her actions, and we declare that the hedge of thorns spoken of in Hosea 2:6-7 be raised around her, no more access to temptation, no more compromise, no more playing with fire.

Father, we cry out for Your conviction to fall upon her heart like a consuming fire. "And when He [the Holy Spirit] has come, He will convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment" (John 16:8). Let her come to her senses as the prodigal son did, saying, "How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough to spare, and I’m dying with hunger! I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight’" (Luke 15:17-18). We pray for a spirit of repentance to grip her soul, that she would turn from her ways and return to You, her first love. May she echo the words of Hosea 2:7, "I will go and return to my first husband, for then was it better with me than now." Let there be no more delay, no more excuses, only a broken and contrite heart that You will not despise (Psalm 51:17).

We also lift up her family and church leadership, for the responsibility to intervene is heavy upon them. The fear of man has no place in the kingdom of God. "Don’t fear those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna" (Matthew 10:28). Pastors and spiritual leaders will give an account for how they shepherd the flock (Hebrews 13:17). If they have been negligent, if they have honored family ties over righteousness as Eli did (1 Samuel 2:30), then we pray for their own repentance and boldness. "Rebuke a wise man, and he will love you. Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser. Teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning" (Proverbs 9:8-9). May they rise up with the authority of Christ to confront sin, restore the wandering, and protect the flock from wolves in sheep’s clothing.

We declare that the Word of God would penetrate her heart like a two-edged sword, dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow, discerning the thoughts and intentions of her heart (Hebrews 4:12). No one is exempt from its judgment, not even spiritual leaders or teachers (James 3:1). Let the lies of the enemy be exposed, and let the truth set her free (John 8:32). We bind the spirit of deception that has ensnared her, and we loose the spirit of truth to flood her mind with clarity and conviction. May she no longer be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine or the cunning craftiness of deceitful men (Ephesians 4:14).

Father, we also pray for protection over her womb. The enemy seeks to further entangle her in sin and complicate her life with consequences that could haunt her for years. We stand on Your promise: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). Close every door to further sexual immorality, and let her body be a temple of the Holy Spirit, not a playground for the flesh (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

For those around her, her sister, her church family, and others who love her, we pray for courage. "He who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins" (James 5:20). May they not shrink back in fear or apathy but step forward in love to speak truth, extend grace, and walk with her through this valley. Let them be willing to bear reproach for the sake of righteousness, as Christ did (Hebrews 13:12-13), and may their faithfulness be a light in her darkness.

And for you, dear one, who carry this burden, we pray for wisdom, strength, and inner healing. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). The road ahead may be difficult, but the Lord is your shepherd. He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul (Psalm 23:2-3). Fast and pray, as Isaiah 58:6-12 describes, for this is a time to loose the bands of wickedness and let the oppressed go free. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9).

We also must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If this dear one does not know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, then all other prayers are in vain. We pray that she would confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that she may be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this, there is no true repentance, no lasting change, and no victory over sin.

Finally, we declare that the Lord is her defender. "The Lord is your keeper. The Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul" (Psalm 121:5-7). We rebuke every evil plan of the enemy, every lying spirit, and every deceitful worker. We loose the peace of God to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and we declare that she will walk in the freedom and righteousness of her King.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts and bold faith, trusting in Your mercy and justice. You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts. We ask that You intervene in this situation with Your mighty hand. Hedge her way with thorns, close every door to temptation, and let her eyes be opened to the truth. Bring her to repentance, restore her to fellowship with You, and use this trial for Your glory. Strengthen her family and church to stand firm in truth and love, and grant them the courage to act. For those who are weary, give rest. For those who are confused, give clarity. For those who are afraid, give faith.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in this situation as it is in heaven. Amen.

We can feel the weight you carry in these prayers, the love behind them is unmistakable. When a person we care about walks a path that leads away from wholeness, the waiting and longing can become exhausting.

Genuine repentance is a work the Holy Spirit does deep in the heart. It’s not just remorse or panic, but a complete change of mind that turns a life around. We can't make it happen for her, but we can keep asking God to do what only He can, and we can trust that He is already at work even when we can't see it. That doesn’t make the wait comfortable, but it helps anchor us when fear and frustration rise.

We also hear your own need for wisdom, clarity, and inner healing. Please don’t carry this alone. Consider sharing your burden with a wise pastor or a mature, trustworthy believer in your church, not to gossip, but to receive counsel and prayer support. You need companions who will lift your arms when they grow tired, and who can help you discern the next right step without being driven by anxiety.

While you fast and pray, give yourself permission to rest in God’s love for you too. You are not responsible for outcomes, only for faithfulness. God sees your tears and hears every scripture-soaked plea.

Father, we bring this tangled situation to You. We ask You to open her eyes, to bring her to a true change of heart that leads to freedom. Protect her from further deception and from those who would do her harm. Give Your child who prays fresh strength, clear wisdom, and companions to share the load. Guard their own spirit and keep them anchored in Your peace, trusting Your timing. In Jesus’ name we pray.

You are watching someone you love walk into a dark wood, and you are crying out for a hedge of thorns to stop her. That is not a cruel prayer, it is the cry of a heart that has learned something of the love of God. For when the Lord sets a thorn-hedge across a wanderer’s path, He is not being unkind; He is being a Father who will not let His child run headlong into the pit. The thorns are mercy set in a severe shape. They wound the feet to spare the soul.

I want you to sit with that picture for a moment. You have asked that her way be hedged up, that she find herself shut in, unable to reach what her hungry heart is chasing. That is exactly what the Lord does when He means to turn a straying sheep homeward. She thinks she is pursuing love and satisfaction; the Lord, in His strange and severe tenderness, blocks the path so that every step becomes painful, every attempt meets a dead end. She will grow weary. She will grow disappointed. And in that weariness, the still, small voice may at last be heard.

Do not think the hedge is a sign that God has abandoned her. It is proof He has not. If He meant to let her go, He would smooth the road and let her travel it quickly to destruction. But when He plants thorns, He is saying, “I want her back, and I will make the wrong road so bitter that she remembers the sweetness of home.”

You are heavy now because you see the thorns beginning to grow and she is still pressing against them. That is a hard sight, and your own heart is bruised by watching it. But take courage, the hedge did not spring up by accident. The same hand that planted the garden of Eden and fenced it round is at work here. He knows how to make a wall so close and a tangle so thick that no earthly lover, no false comfort, and no deluding voice can break through. She will find herself enclosed, not by cruelty, but by a love that will not let her go.

And while you wait, remember who wore the thorns first. Your Master wore them pressed into His brow, not as a hedge to stop Him, but as a crown. He took the thorns that our sin grew, and He bore them in His own person. That means the thorn-hedge your loved one feels is not the punishment of an angry God; it is the discipline of a pierced Redeemer who knows the sharpness Himself. Every thorn that stops her foot is a thorn He has already handled with His own hands. He is not asking her to suffer anything He has not tasted.

I know you are tempted to measure the situation and think it hopeless. You look at the pastors who ought to speak and you see hesitation; you look at the family and you see the fear of man; you look at her and you see a will set against God. But the Lord is not hindered by pastors who fear men, nor by family members who compromise. He can overrule all of it. The hedge does not depend on their cooperation. It depends on His own faithful purpose. When He means to save, He can make the most timid tongue speak, or He can work in silence without any human helper at all.

So steady yourself now. The work is His. The outcome is in His pierced hands. Your part is to go on praying, to keep your own eyes fixed on the Lord Jesus, and to trust that the hedge is growing though you cannot see it yet. She may be far off, but He sees her. She may not be thinking of Him, but He is thinking of her, with a love that planted thorns around His own head so that He might bring her home at last.

---

O Lord, You who made the hedge, tend it with Your own hand. Make it so sharp that no wrong step can prosper, and so close that no false voice can reach her. Let her find every other road blocked until she turns and says in her heart, “I will arise and go to my Father.” And give this dear, watching soul the quiet confidence that You are doing all things well. In the name of Jesus, the thorn-crowned Savior, who is mighty to save. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply moved by the burden you’ve carried and the fervency with which you’ve interceded for this precious soul, standing on the authority of Scripture and the promises of God. Thank you for trusting us to join you in this spiritual battle, lifting up this situation with the weight and urgency it deserves. We have continued to pray in agreement with you, asking the Lord to hedge her way with thorns as He did in Hosea 2:6-7, to awaken her heart to repentance, and to shield her from the deception of the enemy and the snares of evil men.

We are holding fast to the truth that God’s Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11), and we believe He is at work even now, piercing her heart with conviction and drawing her back to Himself. We have prayed for the pastors and leaders in her life to rise up with godly boldness, free from the fear of man, and to fulfill their calling to rebuke sin and restore the wandering—knowing that souls are at stake. We’ve asked the Lord to grant her family and church members the courage to speak truth in love, even if it means stepping outside the comfort of the "camp" to bear reproach for righteousness’ sake (Hebrews 13:12-13).

If the Lord has already moved in answer to these prayers—if she has turned from deception, if her heart has softened, if the hedge of thorns has done its work—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report! Please share how God has intervened so we may rejoice with you. If, however, the battle still rages and the answer seems delayed, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to standing with you in persistent prayer until the Lord brings the breakthrough you’ve sought. The enemy may prowl, but we serve a God who is faithful to deliver, to heal, and to restore (1 Corinthians 10:13).

May the Lord grant you fresh wisdom, clarity, and strength as you continue to seek Him. May He deepen your trust in His timing and His ways, even when the path is unclear. And may He surround you with His peace as you press into prayer, knowing that He hears, He cares, and He is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
