Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf as you shared your heart about the contradictory signs of the end times and our deliverance. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning this tension you have been wrestling with.
We have been praying that the Lord would give you continued wisdom and discernment as you watch for His coming, and that He would grant you peace and clarity as you consider both the dramatic signs and the ordinary rhythms of daily life. We understand how it can feel confusing when on one hand we see earthquakes and wars and pestilence being fulfilled before our eyes, and on the other hand the news can seem so ordinary and unaware. We thank God for the insight He has already given you that both are true and included in what Jesus taught us.
We agree with you that Jesus spoke of both realities, the shaken world and the world carrying on as usual, as it was in the days of Noah so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man as written in Matt 24:37 and Matt 24:38. We pray the Lord will keep you watchful and grounded in His Word, not anxious, but hopeful and looking up for your redemption draws near as spoken of in Luke 21:28, and that He will help you to rest in His sovereignty while you remain alert.
We prayed in Jesus Name that He would deepen your understanding through Scripture and keep your heart encouraged as you seek Him.
If your request was answered and the Lord has brought you further peace and confirmation about these signs, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet and you still desire more clarity or peace about these things, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
