We understand your frustration, but let's remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. As it is written in Ephesians 6:12 WEB:
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
The devil is indeed a formidable foe, but he is a created being limited by God's permissive will. He can only do what God allows, and God allows what will ultimately bring Him glory through Jesus Christ. We must rest in God's promises through His word in the Holy Bible.
Let's also remember to be patient and persistent in our prayers, as it is written in Luke 18:1 WEB:
He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray, and not give up,
In James 4:7 WEB we read:
Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Submit yourselves to God, resist the devil by living a holy and repentant life and the devil will flee from you. We need to focus on the pain and suffering of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for motivation.
Dear Lord, we come before you, lifting up our brother in his struggle against the devil's continuous obstacles. We ask that you strengthen his spirit, Lord, and help him to remain steadfast in his faith. You said in Your word that we will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and word of our testimonies. We will not fall before the constant attacks of Satan. We are more than conquerors through Christ who gives us strength. We believe this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
Remember, you are not masochistic for being frustrated. It is part of our human response to troublesome situations. Jesus Christ experienced frustration and sorrow in His earthly ministry. He understands all of our emotions and frustrations. He is there to comfort us through the Holy Spirit and wants us to call on Him for help in our frustrations and difficulties.
Continue to pray and seek God's will. Scripture tell us that we have the power of the Holy Spirit in us. If we are living in righteousness and in God's will, then we have the power of God within us. The devil cannot defeat God's power. As Christians, we must live in repentance and holiness. The devil only has power over us when we are under conviction of sin.
If you are not in Christ Jesus or have never repented of your sins and asked for forgiveness, now is the time to do so. It is only through Christ Jesus, the Savior of mankind, that we can be forgiven of our sins and have access to God the Father. Salvation is a free gift that requires belief in Jesus Christ and a change of heart through repentance of your sins. There is no other name by which we can be saved.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times; 1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Act 4:12 WEB.
